Beautiful DIY falls, funny: you push the button on the bridge, wait a little and you have your own watefall. Wort trying if you are around.

Arboretum Bicentennial Park is one of the many parks in Armidale, NSW. It is just about 1-2 km from the centre of the town. The park is a an excellent spot for picnicking and taking children for a recreational outing. It is also a nice spot for short walks with a gentle sloping footpath leading to a small clear lake built within the park. A variety of trees such as the poplar, pin oak, golden ash and cherry plum amongst others provide shady areas to sit and relax.
The park has two roofed barbecue places and roofed play area for children. Highly spacious, it is a place for all ages.

Fabulous, especially in Autumn. Terrific views of the city. Also an interesting map of streets with significant trees. Great idea!

An extremely lovely place to have a picnic. Great amenities nearby. The fountain feature is so cool but you must remember to wait 5 mins after pressing the button. 🕺

Nice and clean. Easy place to pull over with plenty of undercover tables to eat at. Walk up to the water and press the button to get the little waterfall going.

Very peaceful and relaxing place to have a picnic or a walk or a play with the dog. Very beautiful, even still in the drought it's lovely to be able to sit in a park and here the water and see the wildlife

It's a lovely place. Toilets, parking, play-area, a lake with a push-button operated waterfall, and the area is large enough to walk for an hour if walking is why you went.

My toddler's favourite park in Armidale! LOVES all the play equipment, especially the split slide so we can slide down together, makes " croissants and coffee" in the little shop. Then we wander over the bridge to press the waterfall button. (His fav thing of all). Always a fun outing.

I just loved strolling, strolling, strolling down to the exquisitely crafted caravan dump point to obtain enlightenment through meditation whilst hearing the sweet sound of 100% Australian Owned, Australian made chemically treated human discharge. Once you plop!
You can't flamin' stop!

Very clean and tidy park for much needed lunch stop. Big covered playground and cover picnic tables and toilets a short walk away.
