Just had an upgrade of our electrical board to install a safety switch, installation of new downlights and installation of two remote controlled fans. The team were fantastic - very friendly, professional and did a great job at a really competitive price. I highly recommend Sam and his team - 10/10.

Following recurrence of a previous fault which resulted in losing all supply to our residential power points, Sam Uphill arrived promptly to carry our a professional analysis. He replaced the combination ELCB with individual safety switches to lessen the individual load as a solution. We are happy to confirm that there has been no repeat of the original reported power outage ever since.

Lovely job done replacing all my old downlights with new modern ones which are neat, bright and energy efficient. Economical too. Thank you very much!

Our new lights are everything we had hoped for, the guys were super nice and efficient! Went to put the dog inside as we were leaving but they insisted we leave her outside with them and it was not a problem! Have a couple of jobs on the calendar to get done and will definitely be calling O’Brien’s again.

I rang hoping to book someone in to the install some fans and lights. I was pleasantly surprised when they managed to have the job completed the very same day as my initial call!

O'Brien were tasked with installing a split system A/C and fixing some very challenging wiring problems with our lights. The crew arrived exactly on time (and even called ahead to make sure we were still OK to proceed). They were efficient, well organised and extremely professional. Also very polite and willing to both listen and make sensible suggestions for the equipment they were repairing or installing. Armidale tradesmen have a deservedly poor reputation for being late, shoddy, entitled and generally uninterested in doing anything out of the box but the O'Brien crew did their job and did it extremely well. Will always use O'Brien from now on.
