Caroline's House of Chicken Cafe Yea

Got a half chicken and chips from here on my way to my holiday house which is about 40 minutes away. Was still hot when I got there and me and my two doggos enjoyed it. Thanks, will be back.

Super Crispy chips and juicy tender chicken. Very happy. I would have loved to have seen some more salads in the fridge but we were really happy with our chicken and chips. 😉 👍

Stopped in Easter Monday for some mid road trip chippies....was not disappointed. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff were attentive and incredibly welcoming, getting our order to us very quickly. The chips were cooked perfectly and a great amount of salt; the best takeaway chips in Yea. Will be back to try other things

Served by a well mannered young gentleman, who cooks the perfect chips, chook was also nice. Ill be back!

Came in on Friday night they were extremely busy but the 2 girls had my souvlaki ready in ten minutes it was really nice, great service in a small town. The restaurant was spacious and tidy would recommend to passers thru going to Mt buller

Caroline is such a special soul! Only meeting her briefly she is beyond lovely! The food was incredible and at 6pm serving AMAZING coffee!!! Highly recommend thanks for making our day!

10/10 - hands down the BEST lamb souvlaki I’ve ever eaten. Would recommend, if all the years driving through Yea, I’ve never noticed this take away, will be our go to from now on !!!! Chips were also cooked perfectly with the right amount of chicken salt!!!

We had a great time at Caroline's House of Chicken. The service was amazing and everyone is super friendly and welcoming. It has to be some of the best fried chicken I have every had, and the potatoes and salads are delicious. If you're ever in the area definitely go and check it out. We will definitely be back.

Arrived right on closing time - a hungry family of 5 on our way back from the snow. Caroline cheerfully took us in and fed us a delicious dinner. My daughter loved her chicken burger and the chicken and salads were excellent. The gelato is also excellent. All together a great experience, we will be back!

the chicken here is absolutely top tier! the milkshakes are to die for as well, i absolutely loved this place at the first bite of the southern fried chicken and the chicken lasagna. Caroline and her team are incredibly hard working and hospitable, and the effort really shows in their food. Can't wait to come back someday!

What a great place for lunch or dinner! The fried chicken was perfect and the super kale salad was delicious and nutritious. The creamy scallop potatoes we also a hit with our group. The new modern decor was friendly and inviting. Thanks Caroline- we will be back!

Great service, wonderful food. Fabulous place to have a meal or just pick something up on the go. The chips are amazing. Light and fluffy on the inside ad good an crispy on the outside. Highly recommend eating here.

My partner and I have vowed that whenever we drive through Yea we have to stop and have a chicken roll with gravy and chips.
I kid you not, this is by far the best chicken roll and gravy we’ve both ever had. The chicken is succulent and freshly made on a rotisserie. And the gravy is beyond me. It’s full of flavour, thick and luscious.
I definitely recommend stopping by for lunch anytime you’re traveling through Yea.

The best kept secret in Yea...Caroline House of Chicken! On walking in, we were greeted by warm smiles from Caroline and her son then we had the best coffee, and I loved the Southern fried chicken and chips. Am definitely making this my number one stop when in Yea.

Just stopped past for dinner on the way to the snow but was super impressed by this chicken joint. It's a chicken revolution! Modern, bright, and most importantly quality chicken that wouldn't be out of place in a hipster city joint.
Prices were reasonable and there was plenty of options for different tastes.

Amazing food with a homemade touch, make sure to get the southern fried chicken, it’s real southern fried chicken that she makes with so much love and care from a recipe she has from working in Alabama.
I just stopped in while passing by with a group on our way to Mansfield and so happy we discovered this amazing wholesome store.

Great southern fryed chicken American style from when Caroline had a shop in Alabama is the best and what a character, very friendly and funny. Salads were fresh and beautiful. If you want a good coffee Quentin's your man.
