What a gem! The menu may be a bit small but the options are quite diverse and would suit people with different tastes. The pork belly bao was really good! The buns were soft and springy, and the pork belly was marinated well. The fish tacos tasted crisp and fresh. The vanilla chai latte was light and refreshing, and the pistachio teacake was such a nice little treat to finish up the meal. Portions weren't too big, but definitely worth the price and just enough to fill you up. Do stop by if you're passing the area!

After being rejected at a “doggy friendly” place because we had a dog (!) we tried this place and we’re welcomed as the friendly staff said “just bring your dog through to the courtyard and we’ll grab you a couple of menus.” I had a scrumptious vegetable pastie and my wife had a delicious Thai noodle salad. Coffee was top notch also but it was the friendly, welcoming service that was so warm with a smile that was impressive. One of the staff members loved our dog and we had a good old dog yarn. Oh, and you’ve got to try the sparkling Granny Smith and mint water!

Great quality breakfast at a reasonable price. Garden seating makes for a peaceful and relaxing breakfast. Also has toilets if needed. Would recommend for anyone driving through on your travels.

Cosy sanctuary on a rainy winters day! Lovely fire going, welcoming and helpful staff.

Food was great with gluten free options.

The pork bao is probably the best I had in Australia. And that’s coming from a Taiwanese guy (the country who invented this dish). They got the pickled veggie, peanut powder and the pork down packed. Good work. Will come visit more often :)

I went in to order a vegetarian pastie for takeaway lunch. It was a busy Friday lunchtime so it took a few minutes for the order to be processed but it was worth the wait. The eating areas looked very inviting for next time. Yea has an amazing assortmrnt of eateries cafe's and shops and well worth a visit.

The fried chicken buttermilk pancake is fantastic. The flavours are balanced and punchy. It wasn't on the current menu but they were happy to make it for me. I will be back here as soon as I'm in the area.

We all got the roll, taco and Bao.
The reason only put the bao because it’s so appropriate. Perfect fit with the batter with pork belly. Pork Oil helps the spices melt in the bao. So great definitely so good

Best coffee between Melbourne and Mansfield, no contest. If you're coming up the Hume, you can speed through Seymour and stop here for a cuppa that rivals the best Melbourne cafes.

Personable service, great selection of small takeaway items + dine-in options, gluten-free included!

Great location on a sunny day to sit out in the back garden. Menu doesn’t show all the offerings such as pastries. The pasties with homemade pastry is absolutely delicious. Best coffee in Yea

What a great find. Outstanding cafe food. Rice paper rolls were amazing and my wife vegetarian pastie was great.

I’d have shared a photo, but was too busy eating the great food.

Thanks Mint and Jam - I wish you were closer to my home . 🏠

Great food and location with generous servings and reasonably priced. When we got to mint and jam there were signs saying due to staff shortages they stopped serving breakfast at 11:30 (instead of all day). But this was really no issue, they still had plenty of food options for lunch. We were also made aware that the wait may be long as they make everything fresh and only had 4 staff but our drinks came in 5 minutes and our food in 10. The rice paper rolls were amazing, they were fresh and really big. The filling was wrapped in a lettuce leaf before the rice paper which stopped the rice paper from breaking and no filling fell out at all. Coffee and sparkling juice was also very yummy. Would definitely recommend.
