Black Swan Bookshop

A delightful bookstore cum cafe in New Norfolk with an excellent selection of books. It is has great coffee and some delicious baked goods. Would very much recommend when visiting New Norfolk.

Such a cute little bookshop with lots of selection of books to choose from! There’s also a little cafe inside that serves coffee and some cakes. Loved the atmosphere. They also sell some postcards here.

My favourite bookstore in Tassie! I especially love the selection of Japanese fiction, which has helped me discover new authors. Such a colourful and welcoming space with excellent art books too.

Beautiful shop and fantastic sweets and coffee. I always bring family and friends here on the way out to Mt Field 😊

Wonderful find in New Norfolk, just out of the main street. A simple building, beautifully renovated (the floor is a work of art) to create a bright enticing decor. The menu is simple but good and my bacon, egg and tomato pie was freshly made and delicious. Coffee was good and the staff were charming and welcoming. We will be back.

Friendly staff. Lovely setting. Love being able to browse for books to buy while we wait and enjoy coffee after. Coffee and the chocolate cookies here are delicious.

Beautiful bookshop and excellent coffee. We spent a lovely hour browsing the vast range of design and architecture books, then sitting at the sunny bench with a delightful coffee. Wonderful vibe. Highly recommended!

Love this little place! We went there three times over the space of a week (on the way and way back from our little West Coast travel holiday).

The coffee is AMAZING, staff were super lovely and the bookshop was great. Definitely one of the best coffees we tried in Tasmania. Will be back next time we’re in New Norfolk.

Absolutely beautiful book & coffee shop! A must see. Atmosphere was incredible (clean, lovely music, very friendly owner), excellently curated selection of books for such a small space. Coffee was some of the best I’ve had in a while. I could have stayed all day!
