Those is the second best Hut on the overland track, great size hut with great views, rooms and awesome photo oppurtunities. A great spot to rest after a long days walk.

New hut is very cosy, beautiful architectural design that is embedded in the natural environment. Lots of campsite area if you do not like to stay in the hut itself.

Beautiful spot with a great swimming spot on the lake. New hut currently being built nearby slightly closer to the lake.

One of the smaller huts, sleeps only 19, but the dining area is very spacious.
This is where you start learning how to use the tricky old gas burners.

The hut itself is quite small, but there are plenty of tent platforms. BEWARE the possums are huge and tenacious. Store food in the huts if possible or in the MIDDLE of your tent. Both of our tents got bitten/scratched through by possums as we had the food up against the side. Lake Windermere is a fair walk from the actual site, but is a great swimming hole.
