What an amazing time we had in the Nat Park.
Only a 7km hike up to Wild Dog Creek campsite where we decided to stay for 4 days.
The walls and views are amazing along with the hikes we did. Mt Jerusalem, The Temple and King Solomans Throne etc. all easily done from our campsite everyday.
The amount of snow was unexpected but we had the gear to cope. Please be aware of the Possum’s and double wrap all food
Loved it and would highly recommend.

Stunning scenery! A solid maybe even brutal start of approximately 500 m of ascent in the first 3 or so km. Once you're on the Plateau it's easy going. Camp sites are good. Watch the possums at night - there are warning so take note to double bag food and scraps.

Absolutely adored this national park. We spent 4 days hiking in the Walls and visited in early September 2019, where there was plenty of snow around! We couldn't hike up all the tracks because of the snow though so if you want to go up all of the trails I would recommend going in summer when the paths are clear to follow. It was a beautiful place though and I thoroughly recommend it!

An Tasmanian gem. Words cannot describe the awe experienced inside the walls. The 1000 year old pencil pines, delicate cushion grass, tiny alpine tarns and wildflowers are perfect foils to the jagged cliffs. It’s criminal that the government wants to open this park up to commercial development. Keep Tassie Wild!

It was a long hike in hot weather but the views were amazing!

It was a good bush walk for learners and people new to bush walking. it is hard with the first climb but pretty flat after that.

it is very pretty and I would strongly recommended going.

the whole thing can be done in one night or two nights. depending on how fast you walk and how many mountains you want to climb.

A truly spectacular area. Not a high degree of difficulty, but you must be well equipped, without fail!
It can turn nasty(snow in Summer), quite quickly. Our days were hot, but cool nights.
You can swim in some of the lakes, which is extremely refreshing(quite cold water).
The ones we swam in have a very soft bottom(mud combined with plant material, decomposing I think) but fairly safe if you are a capable swimmer and careful.

Amazing place, hard uphill walk initially, but after that, awesome views everywhere. Definitely worth a good 3 day drip. Camping at wild dog is beautiful.
