Robina Private Hospital

I have had a four week stay at Robina Private Hospital for a mental condition. My time there was fully occupied with meals and morning and afternoon tea and activities and programs. The meals provided were a cross between chef prepared and Mum's home cooking and plenty of it. The Salt and Pepper Calamari was as good as ANY restaurant on the Gold Coast. Participation in all the activities is recommended. From yoga, relaxation, meditation and art therapy, to mindfulness, understanding depression, challenging thoughts, stress management, etc. Every morning, a community meeting is held for anybody to bring up any issues needing attention. Day and night, staff check on you in your room, to see if you are ok.
Depending on the individuals condition, leave is given and monitored, for exercise and so on. Our rooms were very nice and well maintained. TMS treatments were administered and the staff there were lovely. Sorry, all the staff were magnificent, and helpful and caring and wanting to make your stay as enjoyable as your condition allowed.
I am an individual with no connection to the Hospital or staff. I would be very happy to recommend the Hospital to anyone needing that particular care.

My family have all been well cared for at Robina Private Hospital. I was admitted in May 2023 for rehab on third floor and spent 3 weeks being cared for after I was struggling to get well physically and had severe pain and complex osteo arthritis in neck shoulder back knees and feet. I was unable to walk but left in june and was able to use crutches to mobilise and it was great fun with the OT and physio team. I reached all my goals and know this saved my life as i was deteriorating mentally and physically.

Dr Jom Jiao admitted and helped me to return home with a referral to a psychiatrist, Dr Manfred Penzhorn. I was so happy to go home and come back in ro work on my mental health.

I personally owe this whole hospital and all its staff for the recovery i have made and feel they have really gone the extra mile for me when many others had turned me away. I am feeling hopeful that the team really has the best therapeutic investment in my wellbeing and Ive been given referrals and help to manage my health care strategies as i am so clinically challenging.

I have taken some photos im sharing of some of the staff and doctors. I know my care has been of the highest standard and it will be hard to beat this quality of service and the time spent educating me on how to navigate my own mental and physical priorities and manage my pain. The rooms are comfortable and the food has variety but is also close for uber eats if your a fussy eater like myself.

Being a patient in mental health for 4 weeks and doing TMS with Dr Penzhorn has also given me daily psychiatric visits from him after his day clinic and when doing evening consultations. I feel so lucky to be here and whatever anyone else says, this hospital and its team are amazing. Ive had bulk billed care with 2 other psychiatrists at this hospital to help my GP with medications and for NDIS reports. They have all been very professional and always delivered compassionate care. It might be that everyone is the right fit but there is a great team here and id have to say the team i have is fabulous. Ive been introduced to Dr Chou who is a pain specialist and provided mri of my knees to look into future options with treatments and best clinical advice to make the right choices.

Ive taken a bunch of pics but only have this one for now. I must say this place gives what you put into it and is person centred and im happy to recommend anyone stay here. Its the best care in a hospital ive ever had.

Every single nurse and doctor brought tears to my eyes how much they cared for me. They were absolutely outstanding and were born to care for people. Thank you so much

I am truly grateful for the care I received from all of the amazing staff at Robina private. Nothing was to much trouble and, whilst the nurses actually sat and talked with me, I didn't feel rushed. What an outstanding group of professionals they are. Thank you all for your care and kindness during my 4 week stay.

I would like to commend the staff on both their professionalism, and kindness that they show to everyone in this facility. I wouldn't want to come anywhere else.

Hi there. I have been coming to Robina Private Hospital as an inpatient for the past four years for mental health and find the staff professional, rooms always clean and food wonderful. They also have a great CEO.

I have returned to find the CEO Kenny Clarke has left. He was amazing and really cared for his patients. He was approachable and actually listened to the patients needs and got them meet, He will be missed and I wish him all the best

I've just recently been in hospital. My Dr was awesome, the nurses were fantastic and they go above and beyond to make sure their patients are well looked after. The group programs were very informative. Robina Private is a safe place to heal. I had a very positive experience while I was in hospita. I'd like thank the all the Nurses on level 1, all the allied health team, the cleaners and the kitchen staff and all the staff that work in the office and private practice. I'd also like to thank the nurses in TMS. Thank you. Oh and i'd like to mention Pet Therapy thank you for providing this great initiative. Thank you.

As an inpatient for 5 weeks at Robina Private Hospital, the Aroura Café and
Chantelle was an absolute treasure. Every morning Chantelle would make the most delicious latte with almond milk for me with a beautiful smile that radiated warmth. Her coffee was made with love and starting the day off with Chantelle’s coffee was the best start to the day. Better than my meds! Thank you, Chantelle, for being so caring and making my stay that much better with your beautiful smile and cheery attitude along with the best tasting coffee! Robina Private Hospital is lucky to have you.

I can't speak highly enough of this hospital. All the staff are just wonderful, not just the nurses and doctors. With complex PTSD, I've had several admissions and always found it to be a safe, caring place. Food's great as well!

My wife has been here for a couple of weeks now and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the facility. Her serious condition has baffled a few places over the years and the Nurses /Drs and all of the staff involved at Robina Private have stepped up and been so genuinely involved with her in her first time at your amazing place and we are deeply indebted to you all. We can now see a way to recovery for the first time in years. Thank you so much!

I just had a procedure under general anesthetic this morning and everything went very well. Although the procedure was a bit daunting I felt compelled to comment on my experience. The administration staff, doctors, anesthesiologist, and nursing staff were amazing. Everyone was very pleasant and cheerful. I would highly recommend Robina Private Hospital.

Today, is the fourth time I have been for day surgery. The reception staff greet you warmly. The admission nurse is efficient. The theatre staff are amazing. Recovery is brilliant. Decent food. My surgeon is just super man. The hospital was spotlessly clean. I cannot fault it. My name is Elise Nicholls. They ALL know me! lol. Great team that works together for positive outcomes

Went in over December. It was pretty good. There was this one nurse who took the time out of her probably very heavy workload to sit on the floor with me as I spilled my darkest thoughts. Staff were fantastic, at least on level 2 since that was my experience. And pet therapy was the best thing ever

Have continued to follow up after a mental health call for a spouse. Have missed 3 of their calls now and been meaning to call back to let them know all is ok. But I’m impressed with their dedication to continuing to call.

I just had the best care I could imagine at Robina Private hospital. All the staff I came in contact with were genuine and friendly. I had my wisdom teeth taken out and it was the nurses that made the experience very positive from start to finish! Thank you Robina Private Hospital!

My experiences at Robina Private Hospital were positive and therapeutic. My psychiatrist was great, the nurses and ancillary staff were, almost without exception, caring and professional. I would recommend it to anyone.

Robina Private is one of the best dedicated mental health facilities. The staff truly care about patients and will do their best to help you.

I went in for a procedure unsure of what to expect, but was quickly put at ease. I found every staff member to be super friendly, helpful and professional. I actually enjoyed my short stay and would like to thank everyone.

I’ve received good care here over 3 visits totalling 8 weeks. Everyone I have been looked after here has genuinely cared.
