I have been a patient of Dr Boctor for over 6 years. I have always found her to be a friendly, approachable and empathic GP. She has accurately diagnosed and treated my health issues in a respectful and professional manner, always allowing me to have input into my treatment.
Dr Boctor is undoubtedly the best GP I have ever seen.

Fantastic practice! Dr Boctor is a caring, highly knowledgeable doctor who always puts her patients first! She always addresses all patient concerns and has excellent holistic patient care. On top of this, all the receptionists are so lovely, friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. Highly recommend to anyone looking to become a patient here.

I went there for my first time since my Doc moved overseas. I went in to discuss losing weight and family planning. Dr Pham was my doctor I found on health engine and she was very unprofessional. Here are the reasons.
1. I wanted to discuss fertility options for next year and she was pushing me to do it now. Wanting me to go see some IVF doctor... I don't want this until next year?!?!
2. I want to maintain my female specialist she wanted to refer me to her preference - what about continuity? I have history!
3. Asked for a blood test because I am worried about my sugar level as I have put on weight she declined a test.
4. I told her I wanted to do a health care plan to manage my weight loss with regular gym and physio etc (because I have injuries). Dr Pham declined and said I qualify for injectables or duromine - THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! I wanted to do a natural approach that ties in with family planning.

She further declined any of my requests and I was forced to walk out. I went to the car and cried - I have never experienced such a horrible experience.

The practice is also very run down.

Stay away!

Posting on behalf of my husband

Entering medi care plus as a walk in patient to get some advice. I was apprehensive already before seeing the doctor as you have to go up this dubious escalator to the second floor with no fire escape or stairwell access. The receptionist was nice. I registered as a new patient. It was becoming very clear that they were under staffed as the queues were building. After 45 minutes I finally got to see someone. A doctor under training. I politely agreed to assist her with her training even though this didn’t benefit me in the slightest.

Finally saw Dr Boctor after 1hr -5 minutes. It started well with a warm and friendlyish greeting, putting me at ease in talking to her. Very quickly she lost all credibility. She didn’t seem to have much medical knowledge or insight resorting to the internet, a patronising questionnaire and even going as far as calling the pharmacist downstairs for advice.

I was completely taken aghast at how assuming she was as a doctor and her level of arrogance just baffled me. I told her my past history and requested a specific medication. A medication that has been prescribed to me on and off over a 4 year period by various GP’s. she discounted everything I said and decided that she was going to prescribe me something different despite me talking about my history. I refused the prescription as it seemed senseless and pointless to take something that she said “is exactly the same ask the pharmacist”. If it is exactly the same then prescribe me what I normally take!

Also I needed a medication for a minor skin complaint and Boctor called up the receptionist to bring in the ointment for all to see. Massive breach of patient / doctor confidentiality.

I was left so shocked at the practices malfunction that I am lodging a formal
Complaint to the healthcare complaints commission and also a complaint through the office of Australian complaints commission for breach of privacy. The was I was spoken to and mistreated was unnerving. If I could give -100 stars I would!

I had the worst experience seeing Dr Georgette Boctor!
I already have poor expectations from GPs but this was beyond my expectation!

I walked into her room, she smiled, no questions no greeting, so I sat there for 20 seconds and then finally said 'hi, im here to get my implanon removed and re-implanted'
She then mentioned that its a private practice, and that it cost $300 for insertion and another $300 for removal. Is that okay?
I said no i'll probably just go back to the family planning clinic that does it for free.
So i said while i'm here, I sprained my ankled 8 days ago. and she asks what work i do. I told her i'm a nurse. I was confused as to what that had to do with anything when you havent even looked at my ankle.
She had a look and said oh yes.. it looks inflamed. she had a look at my walk/gait. She said I should see the physio and maybe the physio may request an ultrasound. At this point i was very confused as to why I need an ultrasound instead of an xray. I just waited with an unconvinced facial expression until she reluctantly said do you want an xray? in which I said, yes.

She printed a request form out. And started closing up the conversation. I then asked for a prescription for the implanon.

She stated that she cannot write the prescription, and i asked why. She stated that the implanon needed to be removed otherwise she cannot write a prescription.

I'm not very convinced with this reply. That means I would go somewhere, get it removed, go back to her- get prescription, and then go back to somwhere to get it reinserted.I KNOW that an implanon SHOULD be removed and reinserted the same day (one incision, less harm to patient).

What a waste of medicare money spent to see her. I found this practice on GOOGLE as a specialist to remove and insert implanon. but I feel like Dr Boctor did not care enough about the patient (me) to recommend another place thats cheaper or provide me with other options if i couldn't afford the $600.

The only good thing about this practice was the lovely receptionist that greeted me at the desk!

I strongly don't recommend to see Dr Boctor at this practice ESPECIALLY in regards to your contraception options!

Advertises hours that they don't keep! Says open until 8pm and already close at 7:15pm. Wonderful when you have an emergency situation 😬
