Wow, first time staying here and we are so glad we do, such an amazing little caravan park, Katrina and Steve are very accommodating and such a pleasure to talk to, amenities are beautiful and clean, a fantastic little firepit to sit around ( in the cooler months ), lovely and spacious areas for your van, just such a very inviting van park. Travelling back to Cairns from family commitments in SE QLD. Amazing caravan park, very clean, great amenities block. Only stayed the one night but wished we had more time.

Wonderful place, birds, fireplace, pool, town close by with anything you need. Monto is fantastic.

What a lovely caravan park in a great location .
Katrina is amazing, from my first conversation with her on the phone to meeting her at the office, you can tell that she cares so much about her customers and her caravan park.
The sites are lovely and spacious, with enough room for Caravan, Awning and car, plus room to move around.
Amenities are very clean, showers are as hot as you like, there’s a pool, bbq, laundry etc.
The park also seems to attract a lot of different bird life.
The park is an easy walk into town, with a coffee shop on the way (Full Monty).
There is a lovely painted caravan on site, that complements the art in Town.
We have stayed at other locations in Monto, but in the future, we will certainly be coming back to stay with Katrina and Steve.

We just had the most delightful experience with Steve and Katrina at this park. The service was flawless considering we were taking our staffy to a caravan park for the first time. Katrina made sure we had the best spot possible with a view of the amazing bushland surrounding the park and Steve was amazingly friendly to us and our dog and made sure we were happy at all times. He even allowed us to take our dog to the swimming pool and watch us from the side. I must admit the park was extremely quiet with very few visitors while we were there, which was great for us. Amenities were cleaned daily and the park was kept extremely neat and tidy. A wonderful stay all around. Thank you Steve and Katrina. You're doing a brilliant job and we will be back someday.

What a fantastic park. The hosts are extremely friendly, are very informative in respect to sight seeing in the town. A camp fire each night -weather dependent. Very clean amenities.

Stopped last night, lovely bush setting on a spacious site. Enjoyed Happy hour by the camp fire. The hosts were friendly, and there was a pool, and it was clean. Would have liked to stay longer.

After a hot ride on our bikes we pulled in here for the night. We got a lovely 2 bedroom cabin right across from the pool..

The cabin has a carport so your car or motorbikes are under cover. The managers are so friendly and amazing. Closest place to eat is a done in take away shop called The Duck In.

The only thing I would do next time is bring my own pillow as they were very high and firm.

Highly recommend this place it has everything you need. Quiet country setting ,dog friendly. My cabin had a screened in patio and table and chairs. Staff are friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there. I've stayed there twice now. I will be back.

What a lovely little park. Super neat & tidy & well looked after. Steve & Katrina were extremely helpful & welcoming, & the evening campfire get togethers were much enjoyed, allowing us to meet our fellow guests. It is a tribute to both Steve & Katrina that the park & the campfire get togethers have a lovely family feel.
The park is close to all the trail art, a short drive from the lovely Cania Gorge & not too far from the Kalpowar Rail Trail (the tunnels are worth the trip). Much to recommend about this lovely park

I stayed for 3 nights & loved this caravan park. Its so well laid out, very quiet & has an air of peacefulness.
The owners are super friendly and are really lovely people.
The amenities were very clean. The showers have good drainage & designed so your whole cubicle floor doesn't land up soaking wet.
The pool was sparkling clean & is a relaxing area.
I highly recommend this caravan park.

This is a delightful town and an equally delightful caravan park. It is spotlessly clean, well appointed and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. There are even fresh herbs for the guests to pick and a very inviting pool. It's a bird watcher's dream too.
My only regret is that I have to move on after just one night....but I'll be back!

I had the great opportunity to stay at Monto C'vav & Cabin part for 6x days in regards to business within the region. On arrival I knew my stay was going to be amazing, due to the most welcome of 'welcomes'. The staff immediately become your friend, and will go to amazing lengths to assist with your stay ( even supplied assistance with an issue I had with Excel spreadsheet formatting 😃).

The accommodation was exceptional, and quiet. Working 12hr shifts, it was wonderful to return to the park and chill-out within the garden setting, and sometimes utilise the pool.

I will be returning and hopefully get the same cabin I had for my last period of work with the Monto-Kalpower region.

Summary, Monto Cavan & Cabin Park is a beautiful little oasis, quiet, comfortable with amazing staff, so what else could you ask for? 😊

Caretakers were friendly and helpful. Parks amenties were very clean and maintained. A communal firepit and BBQ is also part of the parks facilities, where we mingled with fellow campers. Our campsite was large and overlooked bushland. We are definitely going back and highly recommend the park for fellow travellers. Only 30mins from Carnia Gorge and the town centre within walking distance.

Warm and friendly reception. A beautiful place to stay. The accommodation (The Birdcage) was absolutely us down to the ground. Pity it was only for 1 night.
