Great food at a really good price. Big breakfast had Eggs, bacon, sausages, steak, baked beans, tomato and toast. Friendly staff. Well worth the stop.

The food was great with variety of food for any meal. We came through here a few times in our short stay in the town and each meal was great with an atmosphere that made us feel at home. The staff were kind and always said hi when we came in. Real small town service 👍

Dropped in for a snack and coffee on a drive. Great food, excellent selection nice decor. Had BLT, egg sandwich, chips and coffee. Recommended.

I went through Mulgidie and stopped at the antique store..I asked Tessa and Marion anywhere for a fish&chip lunch...they told us the best fish&chips are at Monto Coffee Lounge only 10 minutes away!...something else I love is when you get a coffee card with a buy 5 get one free as travelling you never really get time for 9 get one free hey!..well you get this here...Monto is one of the loveliest little towns we've visited the coffee lounge is in the block with IGA...Travellers you will have to turn into the business centre as you may drive straight past! ...The fish and chips were terrific and for 15 bucks 12 without salad you get...hands down the best and biggest salad and delicious sauce anywhere we've been...the red emperor is the fish served crumbed on the premises...and chips are the flat crunchy ones...we believe the crab sandwiches are also a huge hit!...I highly recommend you take a break and refresh here!!

Very popular place, get all your food and drinks made here for you, so good, sit in, or take out. Monto is so beautiful, country hospitality at it's best. So many shops here too.

Great coffee and value for money amazing meals! This is a must stop if going through Monto with friendly owners and staff and as a bonus opens at 7am for us early birds 😊

A beaut place to have a coffee or get a bite to eat. Breakfast starts from 7am, friendly staff, clean establishment with good food.

Always eat there once a week. Close to grocery store and easy access. Great food and friendly staff exactly what we need in small country towns. Easy parking and short walk most times of the week. Try it and you will come back again and again.

We stopped in today (1 Aug 2023) and OMG the home made pies are to die for. These are absolutely the best pies in Queensland or even Australia. We bought one for takeaway and ate it at the park. It was so good we went back and bought 4 more as well as a chocolate muffin so that I could have them for lunch when I'm back at work. My husband and I are going to plan a special trip back from Rockhampton to get a whole swag of them! The shop is well set up and staff are very welcoming. Keep up the good work!

Stopped in for a coffee and could not have been more impressed. A well presented, clean coffee shop with a great feel. Service and coffee was fantastic. There is wheelchair access too.

I was hard at work smelling the delicious burger the boss was eating, had to ask where did you get that from. Headed to Monto Coffee Lounge and got one for myself. Tasted as good as it smelt, it looked great too but after being teased by the smell I was not waiting around to take a photo. Such a good burger. Thanks Dave and the team.

Great cafe with a decent selection of gluten free options made fresh. They also have a selection of Artizan Gluten Free frozen food to take home.
I have felt welcomed to their cafe since I started coming to Monto late last year. They know my order & I've never had a bad meal here. It's like dropping in on friends.
I'll certainly be coming back for more. Best Gluten Free Steak Sandwich I've had EVER!!
If your reading this and staying in the Free Camp, at Monto, take a stroll up the street, it will be worth it!!

We had afternoon tea and dinner here during our recent overnight stay in Monto. My wife had a Crab Sandwich and said it was delicious. You wouldn't expect to find fresh crab meat this far inland but it was excellent.
I settled for a Hamburger Works and wasn't disappointed either

Best coffee shop in town! The atmosphere is relaxing and Dave and his staff always provide friendly service. The coffee and food is amazing and the kids love the thick shakes. Great little coffee shop to stop in when passing through Monto or a regular place for the locals. I highly recommend the Monto Coffee Lounge.

What a wonderful spot for early morning coffee and breakfast! Food was yummy and reasonably priced and coffee was great. Best part for me was the lovely young lady serving my table and assisting me with my dog Charlie. A refreshing change to find a well mannered and thoughtful teenager. Thankyou P.

Always great service even if it is right on opening for a cheeky coffee before work or a later decision on dinner. Food is always up to scratch. Owners are very genuine and funny people, ensure you have a chat with them.

Burger amazing. And toasted sandwich yum. Coffee’s excellent. And wow. Asked for a thickshake and well it certainly was thick. Would highly recommend this place.

Dave & the team are so friendly and serve beautiful meals and drinks. Love the ice-coffees made with real coffee-yum.
