Stayed for 2 nights, great location, clean tidy and very friendly staff! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
If you are looking for a great next place to stay! This is it! Had everything for an easy weekend! No need to travel as there is plenty to do at the park from exploring, bush walks, splash park, restaurant, bar and heaps to do for kids! Loved the bird feeding in the afternoon. Thanks to staff we had a wonderful time, thank you heaps!

Have just spent 5 days here and it’s great!
The managers Scott & Sharon are doing a fantastic job and all of their staff are a real credit to them to.
Wine tasting and pizza night was great, the bird feeding is awesome, you can cool down in one of the lovely pools to.
The park and amenities all very clean and well kept, the wildlife friendly and only a short drive to the bush walks which are fabulous 😊
Highly recommend this park

It was such a perfect vacation.
The staff here are all friendly.
They remembered where we came from.
The pool is a little old, but clean.
clean and inspect it every day. There was jumping and we could watch a Saturday night movie.
We will definitely visit again.
We really had a great time.
Thank you so much.

This is the MOST underrated or unknown place in QLD. It was our getaway which has led to numerous friends also visiting the area. The grounds are great for families, couples. rooms decent size with large fridges even in small room so family can stay in the budget cabin. The pool, go karts, and outdoor activities were a HUGE hit for everyone. Cania is a great place to just switch off thanks to limited service. We loved bird feeding, kayaking at the damn and just in love with it all.

Stayed in the cabins, they were comfortable and clean, a bit dated but with all of the outside activities we were not inside much.
Kids spent alot of time at the water park.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin at Cania Gorge for 2 nights. The cabin itself is very dated and needs maintenance, but has everything you need. The location of the park is close to all the main walks around the area and is lovely and spacious. The waterpark, waterslide and 3 pools were a hit. Our son loved the jumping pillow and being able to ride his bike around the park. The birds get a bit cheeky, with a Kookaburra swooping down and eating the cheese off a cracker as my husband was putting it into his mouth and the lorrikeets tried to eat cereal straight out of my sons bowl - so be wary of this. We ended up eating a lot of our meals inside. The 4.30pm bird feeding is great - however wear a hat and long sleeves or you'll get scratches all over you. There's a little store in reception that has a lot of supplies if you forget anything. Overall - loved our stay and will be back!

Wonderful family holiday, all clean, well maintained facilities with friendly staff. Even though two of the four days were rainy days kids all still had so much fun with wildlife and games etc

Fantastic spot to visit. We stayed a week, you can choose to hang out at the van park with plenty of activities for the kids. We bought the kids bikes so if they weren't off doing one of the many activities they were riding around. Hiring games and equipment was low cost and they had a great little shop. If your feeling energetic you can go on one of the spectacular walks, kayak on the dam or go 4wding. Staff are amazing and helpful.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights. Was just a perfect time away and the wildlife is amazing. Waking up to kangaroos and beautiful birds each morning was magic. Loved it in the cooler time. We will 100% be back.

We spent near 6 days here and it was great!! We are a family of 5 and each of us enjoyed the park facilities... kids especially loved the water slide and water-park.
The Cabin was good only it needed to be a bit more of a clean.
Besides that we were extremely pleased.

Loved this place! Sensational family-friendly park with very accommodating staff! Has a great water park and jumping pillow for the kids and live bird feeding every day. Lots of wildlife in the park ranging from roos and wallabies to all sorts of birds. Beautiful quiet ambience and the amenities are excellent and very clean, bins emptied every day and the grounds are kept beautifully. Good day out spent at a site in Kroombit Tops National Park where you can see a downed US B24 Bomber known as Beautiful Betsy. Crashed in 1945 with 6 US & 2 British Airmen in 1945 and wasn't discovered until 1994! A short drive to Monto if supplies are needed if you are running short during your stay.

This caravan park is the best in which I have ever been to!

Positives
- Very pretty and friendly birds
- Showers are warm even at night
- Dog friendly ( but we didn’t have a dog with us )
- Fire wood delivery service sort of thing
- Close to nature and beautiful walks

Negatives
- Only 3G. It does still manage to stream Netflix… slowly at low quality.

Overall, great place for a retreat and the fact that there is 3G is a TREAT as there isn’t much reception in the outback. Sadly didn’t take any pictures of the birds :(

Vicki and Peter were wonderfully helpful. We arrived late and that was no problem. The facilities are great, the showers are hot and the wildlife is amazing. Keen to come back again with the kids. There are some stunning walks nearby!

The experience at this park will stay with me for many years to come. How special the wild bird feeding was is beyond words. I loved all the activities for children including the waterpark, the big jumping pillow, hire kayaks, hire karts, movies under the stars. I absolutely also loved the special dinner nights! We loved the wood fired pizzas all freshly made on site. Incredible this place is!

My friends and I had a wonderful experience here, we stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and had nothing but good experiences. The cabin was clean and tidy, with excellent amenities. The wood fired pizzas on Saturday night were delicious and afterwards we enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching a movie. The native bird feeding was also wonderful and was such a wholesome experience.
There were also some stunning walks to choose from nearby.
Would absolutely recommend for a camping getaway!

What a lovely place. The people were so lovely and welcoming and when our bikes broke down we could barely fix them for people coming up to offer help or kind words. Friendly kangaroos and birds came to say hello too (I would recommend bringing food if you want to make friends with them). The fish and chips was great.

Wonderful family vacation camp ground. Right in the heart of Cania with easy access to dam and national park. Water park kept kids endlessly entertained. All the facilities were well kept even during our peak season stay. Professional and helpful staff. So much more that could be mentioned. Would 100% recommend to any family.

It's a good park at the pricier end of the spectrum. Everything well maintained and there are fire pits at most sites. Staff are welcoming and helpful on the phone and face to face. We prefer bush camping but this was a good experience for the couple of nights we had.

Fantastic park for both coupe& families. Plenty of space for vans & campers to spread out. The wallabies & bird life in the park is amazing & friendly. The staff are very welcoming. Couldn’t fault. Recommend to all.

Beautiful camping ground with everything you'd need for the family!
Very clean amenities block with laundry & huge washing line for full time travelers like us 😊

Free activities include feeding the birds, watching the kangaroos, have a splash in the water park, jump on the jumping pillow or sit back & enjoy your campfire.
Additional charges for disc golf, par 3 golf, buggy hire & kayak hire.

They have theme nights of dinners including pizza & fish & chips & camp oven cook up, plus movie night under the stars as well.

Raised fire pits are allowed, they have some to hire if you don't have one.

Easy access to the walking trails to explore the gorge & caves in the area.

Powered, unpowered, cabins & tent sites available. Take extra mozzie spray/coils as the mozzies are hungry at dusk.

Overall, absolutely loved our 3 nights here, high recommend!
