Mungungo Hotel

Lovely country hotel had lunch and dinner the service was fast hardly any waiting and meals were amazing staff are friendly plus there is a great free camp behind the pub

We stayed 2 nights and was lucky to be there for pizza Tuesday. The Mungungo pub claimed the best pizza in Mungungo possibly the world, have to agree, it was great! Camped out the back in the free camping area an went on the rail trail from Kalpowar, then back to the pub for dinner that night and had the house special of pork ribs and chips and vegetables. Once again great. Don't forget to check out the longhorn bulls across the road.

Meals were excellent. Cooked to perfection. Camped at the back overnight. Showers and toilets ok.

Lovely pub, new owners had just started when we were there so no food was available but the beer was cold.

The authentic bush pub experience with pizzas worth the drive for. For me who isn't a "pub" person I genuinely enjoy the drive out and the atmosphere here. 👍

Absolutely loved this place! We intended free camping for 1 night but the locals came in and made the atmosphere so much fun we stayed another night. The food is to die for and there was so much I had it for lunch next day. We had so much fun reliving our youth on the free pinball machine and playing songs on the jukebox.
The showers were nice and hot! Amenities were clean and all you need for a stay over.
If you are around the area, go out of your way to stay at this magic place, you won't regret it.

Excellent country pub with free camping at the back. Cold beer and am amazing feed. Fantastic hospitality from the owners and their staff. The mad roosters will definitely return

I am disappointed we had pre-planned to pass through and not make an evening stay at this pub. Ice cold beer, the perfect pub feed and a lovely smile on the host. I'm already looking forward to bringing the family back and hitting the rail trail together.

Definitely worth visiting this place 👍 I Love the atmosphere this Pub has and it a Great place for the Adventure Rider to refresh and camp overnight. There are rooms available for a comfortable nights sleep or camp for free up the back.

A great old country pub. The food is great with "specials" several times a week like "parmi", "ribs & rump" & "pizza" nights. A truly friendly, relaxed country pub with great service & a down to earth owner. Free camping out the back for the weary traveller. Well worth a visit.

Free camping out the back of the pub, felt safe and comfortable, made friends with the pet goats. Pub meal and a couple of beers. Excellent stop over whilst riding solo on the rail trail. Friendly service! Would come back x1000

Fantastic country pub to sit down & enjoy a beautiful (value for money) meal & good cold beverage to wash it down. Great friendly service from the personnel running the pub. Amenities are nice & clean. It’s worth every minute to stop here!

A great old pub in a beautiful location and with very hospitable owners. They organised a fire for us, we fed long horn cows and nothing was too much trouble. Recommended highly.

Fabulous! Welcomed by Vicki, Tanya & locals. Hearty feed at a good price & cold beer. A lovely warm fireplace in the lounge. Great atmosphere. Don't drive past.
