Service and minor repairs; did an awesome job, was like riding a new bike again.

Did a clean and shine on it too.

I put my not particularly good quality bike in for repair at Carina Cycles, as it had a messed up derailleur. The guy there offered me excellent and honest advice on whether to repair the bike or upgrade to a better one and I ended up choosing to repair it. 4 days later (a day sooner than I was originally told) it was ready, and I was charged $13 less than they'd predicted. They had replaced the entire derailleur, and indexed the gears and everything. They also did several extra things basically for free, like tightening the pedals, checking the brakes, lubricating the chain, and he even replaced a missing cap from one of the tire valves. The bicycle feels smoother than it has in months, and I'm super happy with the result. I'll be back!

Urgently needed two tyre tubes replaced so my daughter and I could ride our bikes today. Job was completed so quickly and customer service was excellent. Going here literally saved our day.

Bob helped fit a basket and baby seat to my wife’s bike. He also serviced it and replaced a few rusty bolts. Fantastic job in a short time, and very reasonable priced. Thanks Bob!

Had full bike service.
I was contacted when promised.
The replaced parts were kept to show me why they needed replacing and also gave me some guidance on how to reduce impact in the future.
Bike now rides like new.

Friendly, great advice, reasonable prices. I didn't know this kind of old-school shop was still around for people who just want to ride a bike, without having to be a Lycra wearing fanatic.

Got my first bike from here. Mostly fine besides service cost, very pricey.

Be wary of getting a service done here. I simply wanted new tyres, which apparently became a complicated process, costing well over ($100 above) the price I was reluctantly 'quoted' initially. Work suddenly needed to take over a day, in a bid to charge me more. Also, my brake pads started screeching badly when I rode home late afternoon - I readjusted them myself, dreading to take it back. The whole experience felt like dealing with a used car salesman, a shonky one at that. Never again!

Turned up to pick up bike for going on holidays but was shut before 5pm and i checked with him that day what time he was shut he said 5pm, delayed holiday. No apology. Charged me 33 dollars for a buckle in the wheel which he did not fix. So I had a non fictional bike to go on a biking holiday, thanks.

Said he shut at 6pm but shut a 5pm instead when we were on a holiday ans need to leave that day but instead we had to stay another night and pick up the bike in the morning when the job he did mad ethe bike no better and charged a crazy price for not even fixing it

Biggest rip off..we asked for a standard service on a bike and get charged triple the amount without them even contacting us first.
