Mulgildie Hotel

What a great little country pub. It has a smallish public bar with a pool table & TV's showing horse racing/sports & regular TV. There is also a large dining room with plenty of tables & seating. I can also recommend the food. All in all, just an honest Aussie country pub that the locals & visitors alike love. Cheers.

Friendly down to earth people, comfortable room and hot showers. The building has a beautiful energy about it and you can feel her history. It felt like home!
It was a treasure as I only stopped to rest a bit at the camp next to hotel and decided to stay the night. Really happy I did.
The food was not so good though and may I suggest that you pull your menu down to about SIX basic and simple pub meals. And do them well.

Not one to write reviews but feel this deserved it. Great publicans who enjoy company, good food. Nothing in town but good for layover, banter, beer and pool.

What a great country pub free camp! The Mulgildie pub is a gem. Plenty of room for our caravan, great meals, cold beers and the friendliest owners all go to making this a fab stopover. Lots of exploring to do around the area and this is a great base!

Had lunch day after Anzac Day.eight of us. All enjoyed their meals value for money.Good service a wide varied menu great service. if you are in the area bring your appetite Do not eat breakfast first if having lunch here.

Best Country pub in Australia 🇦🇺 👌. Biker friendly, free camping, cheap rooms, great food and service that's hard to find elsewhere. Hidden little gem in the middle of nowhere. If you're looking a top night away from the rat race of day to day life. This place is for you 🤙

Fantastic place. Free camped for the night. $4 for shower. Staff just brilliant. Emily a young backpacker working the bar was everything you could expect just brilliant with a personality to match. Sunday night was Pizza night. $22 for a large 20" and scrumptious. Best bar prices for drinks I have seen in all my trip. To top all this off they had live entertainment with the great Bear Waters playing Johny Cash Willy Nelson and all the old greats.A great night. Highly recomend. Wish I could stay longer.

Dropped in for Sunday lunch after driving past for years. Julie is a great host and as we waited for our food we checked out the huge number of paintings on the walls by various artists. Julie is an artist herself and hers are excellent. Food arrived and it was great. An interesting and quirky pub that is worth a visit and a stay.

The simple answer as to why 5* is simple - publicans Shane and Lynette, barmaid, Kylie and Chef Wayne. Then there's the locals, who treated us as if we were locals ourselves, not that common in some country towns, unfortunately.
We, West QLD Veterans MC will most definitely be back again, we love to support small country pubs and the Mulgildi, pub proved to be not only a great business to support, but everyone there including the locals made us feel so welcome you would have thought we were locals ourselves. Service definitely before profit, and genuine value all round.

Stayed two nights in camp area. Friendly owner artist Julie and lovely bar person Emelie. Very nice, reasonably priced meals. There is a great wine cellar and Julie has created a fun, quirky pub.

Best pub with the most awesome publicans, amazing food and accommodation with an excellent yard to camp. Love the place we've stayed nearly a week when we only intended to stay overnight.

Publicans were fantastic,as was the food and drinks. We had an unpowered site outside the pub and full access to o shower and toilets inside the pub,24- 7.

Was driving through a very big storm and stopped outside hotel in my car. Julie invited me into her hotel for shelter and even provided me with a drink and coffee and wouldnt take any money. The hotel is quaint and clean and the service was great. All the artwork was beautiful to look at on the hotel walls. Thankyou so much.

Did not stay this time, but will definately be back with our caravan to stay. Great old pub. Very clean and staff very friendly. Lots to look at and hotel rooms look great. Good country food at great prices.

Only meal. Great meals, good price for the wine. Free overnight camping plus 24 access to the toilets.
