Comfort Hotel Parklands Calliope

When I got there I think I got the very last room in the complex. I was expecting this would be the worst room. It was spotlessly clean, very well set up, enormous, and a very very reasonable price.

Front desk was just awesome and was clearly motivated by a love of the business and customer satisfaction. I will be planning a stopover here from now on for all of my Nth/sth East coast trips.

Will be staying here frequently now location is perfect for a stop over and to refresh and recharge for the next day.
Staff friendly and helpful

After an unexpected late start, we found ourselves looking for accomodation very late at night. Every town we tried, reception had closed at 9. Finally we’re able to stop here for the night.
Received a beautiful welcoming smile even though it was so late. The room was clean, & comfortable. Felt safe leaving our trailer. Highly recommend this Choice branded hotel, but I would call ahead for booking. It seemed full and we were lucky to get a room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms with a comfy bed and good shower pressure (it’s the little things!). No meals on weekends but easy walk to servo with good meals and Maccas for the kids. No microwave in the room but not really a problem. Really enjoyed our stay. Already booked a room on the return trip. Highly recommend 😊

My first piece of advice… do not book a room at “The Precinct”. We found this place at the last minute & I couldn’t be any happier that we did. The customer service at reception here at Comfort Inn was absolutely lovely. The room had not only 1 but 2 split systems, perfect for the record breaking cold we had for the first 3 days. Huge shower, really clean & tidy. Super happy…. Definitely recommended.

Great place for an overnight stay. Great sized rooms and clean as a whistle. Food was beautiful and the staff are so accommodating and lively. Bed was comfy. Will definitely be back here.

We had our wedding reception here in 2016. Great venue, guests LOVED the buffet food and we got to choose the food in the buffet. The staff cut up our wedding cake and put it in the buffet for us too. Very seamless and easy to deal with. They set up the tables and chair covers, and allowed us to decorate however we liked.

Found this place to be an extremely comfortable place to stay for a recovering sleep. Very nice accommadation all-round. Fantastic price for 3 single adults each with own comfortable bed @$129/night. Great little oasis for a break from the road trip. Thanks very much Peter. 🐲

Huge room, renovated bathroom and everything we needed for our family stopover. Staff were responsive and helpful about late checkin. Loved all the plants and decor in the corridor and reception.

We were affected by the recent Brisbane Covid lockdown and our dates moved around a few times. The staff were very accommodating, flexible and friendly. Our twin room was clean and spacious. Being en route to Airlie Beach, this was a perfect half way stop over without us having to detour from the Highway. Overnight parking with a boat was also no issue - plenty of space to park.

Awesome Very Large Motel.I Think it used to be an Retired Person's Centre , with Very Large Walkways , extra large door & Rooms with many extra amenities

This is the quirkiest place we’ve ever ver stayed. Great friendly hosts & everything that we needed. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent hospitality! The food was incredible! The lamb shanks were to die for! The rooms were very clean, neat and welcoming. The staff were all very warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Have stayed twice in two weeks, Very clean rooms, great amenities, great parking ( even for my refrigeratorated truck ) and the staff are exceptional.

Extremely clean and very comfortable. Close to eateries. The man on reception was very helpful, going out of his way to help. I would certainly stay there again in my travels.

Arrived at midnight and were greeted by night manager with a smile and ever so helpful. Comfiest motel bed have slept on. Quick stay but good, clean and comfortable.

When the kitchen is open you can get a proper home cooked meal too.

This place is amazing, from the moment you drive in, until you drive out you are treated to a place that has a lot of love and care put into it. The beautiful people who run this place have done amazing job.... I can not praise the experience we had here enough!!

Right next to a great gas plus food but quietly tucked away from and problems with a pool out the front and tree's to help cover you or your family from the sun so nice shady and clean cabins that would make a great stop over

Brilliant accommodation in cabins. Big grounds and easy access to both Calliope and Gladstone.. definitely value for money.
