We're very thankful for the warm welcome and hospitality provided particularly by Sandy, whom showed us around to feed the alpacas and pony. A nostalgic treat from the cafe took me back to being a young fella once again. Wishing I could visit again already!

They offer laser tag nights in a minature village setting so you can hide behind buildings, under buildings, shoot through windows. This is so much better than the indoor cardboard partition style ones. More realistic

We stayed one night at the gallery, a fascinating place roaming by friendly peacocks, surrounded by beautiful bush setting and wonderful artworks. We got a chance to feed very adorable alpacas. A memorable experience, highly recommended.

Off the Bruce Highway, not far west of Tannum Sands is Cedar Galleries, a flexible attraction based around a series of arts and crafts galleries.

You can browse work by artists and craftspeople from the region, or come to learn techniques in a whole spectrum of disciplines, from stencilling to sculpture.

Cedar Galleries also maintains a herd of around 30 alpacas, and children will have a fun time meeting them and feeding them by hand.

Keep abreast of the schedule, because the annual alpaca shearing day is always a family-friendly event.

Great day out for the kids and nice coffee. The laser tag is so much fun for my boys.
