Calliope Caravan Park

The people here are AWESOME! Most genuine and caring people I've ever met. They didn't know me from a bar of soap, but they knew i hurt myself and needed a place to stay and took a chance.. My fault too! Crashed my motorbike. Now I'm here till the 31st. True blue... All the way! It'd be a privilege to live among such caring individuals as i found here! And with Calliope river about 5 to 10 km down the road... Pure awesome! But don't prang ur bike... It hurts... Ride safe brothers and sisters!

Very tidy park and regular maintenance is always ongoing.
Extremely well managed and great advice given by management with regards to van probs and also surrounding places worth visiting.
Drive through sites are huge.
Amenities always clean.

Friendly staff, very clean, family & pet friendly. Cabins are roomy, amenities are cleaned daily, great for a night stay or to make a permanent home. Cheap accomadation & the pool is big & always clean.

Im giving five stars as it ticked all my boxes except one, and that was no big deal. I absolutely loved the huge shower block, I'm not sure when it was built but it is extremely high ceilinged with ample ventilation. I hate tiny stuffy cubicles lol. The laundry was also massive with working machines. A huge shady park with old established trees. We found a picnic table close to the amenities block and set up our tent on soft grass. There is no camp kitchen, but that was not a problem for us as we camp self contained. Its not a flash Big 4 but I liked it much better.

The cheapest week rates for a van park ive ever come across. Everything you need. Really convienent, 2 minutes to major shops. Gorgeous green ovals and gardens in the area. Really nice owners that will look after you. Ill be back

5 bananas out of 5, my karaoke was on point, so I serenaded the neighbours.....

Great place.... love the bush camp feeling. Ammenities are clean and tidy. Management are great people. A fantastic hidden treasure.
