Surprised to find a lovely Nepali couple as host. They were very kind and generous. Definitely would recommend this place if you don't have prior booking

Lovely welcome and helpful with some tips about the local area. Very clean and tidy rooms. Decent size for a family too. Although family-friendly I would suggest it is not appropriate for toddlers or younger due to other guests not being able to tolerate younger children making noise at reasonable hours (as they do).

Dated Older style motel but very clean quiet and comfortable. We had a superior queen room for $124 which has a kitchenette breakfast table and quite roomy. Good value considering the previous night was $170 and not much better in a different place. Zoe the manager is delightful and keen to help with good dinning suggestions. Overall value for money...

Friendly, welcoming hosts took wonderful care of us, on a short notice booking, wonderful honest local advice, and the room? ABSOLUTELY spotless. Comfortable bed, generous linens, very nice shower.. warm, clean, and very quiet. Will be my go-to for Armidale from here on. Could not find better! And so lovely to children who may also be travelling and staying!

Pretty good motel, was clean nice size TV and spacious room. Next time we are in Armidale will be staying here.

Fantastic value for money and lovely, helpful staff. We were travelling for work and looking for somewhere to stop for the night because we were tired. I looked online for a place to stay and didn't have high expectations based on the price but I was pleasantly surprised. It's been very well renovated, fabulously clean and has great water pressure in the shower. The pizza place recommendation was excellent and it was very quiet leading to a great sleep. I highly recommend it and while I don't anticipate being back in the area in the near future I'd definitely stay again.

We had a family room, slept 4. Beds are very comfortable with electric blankets.and air conditioner. Rooms were spacious for a family room. Even had dining table and chairs. Rooms well insulated and maintains temp even with a/c off a few hours. Room was also quiet. Owners were lovely. Bathroom smallish but really all you need when you are just in at night. Great Hot water. Would highly recommend

What a gem of a hotel this is. We arrived in Armidale after a combined 28 hours of sleepless travel and the very friendly owner went out of her way to clean our room early and allow us an early check in to get a bit of extra sleep. The room was impeccably clean, cozy and well heated, and had easy access parking and all the amenities we needed. Will definitely check in again if we ever need a place to stay in Armidale.

We spent a night at Hideaway last week, booking in as we drove into Armidale late afternoon. Zoe was so welcoming, and our room very comfy...warm, great bed (with electric blanket), spotlessly clean and all we needed in the kitchenette. It was surprisingly quiet given its location on the road into town...we had a very restful stay. We will stay there again if/when visiting Armidale!

Absolutely great place. The room was a little dated but so clean and comfy. Heater was running for us when we arrived which was fantastic. The host (I’ve forgotten her name) was so welcoming and helpful in recommending spots. She even came around to everyone’s rooms to tell us it was snowing! Definitely great bang for buck and will be back next time we’re in Armidale.

Great motel, just outside the main CBD which makes it a bit quieter and off the main highway to, service was very good for the 1 night, owner was happy to leave key in the drop off box for me as I was checking in late. Room was clean and tidy and well furnished.

The owner was the best. She made sure we were comfortable and gave us a call to make sure we got our keys since we were checking in late. The motel is a bit old but the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Can't complain for the value.
