Chipmunks in the Forest - Ambarvale Child Care Centre

Staff are very polite and my grandson loves spending his days there and he always is happy learning different things daily. Loves also being able to have his playtime wether outside in sandpit or dancing in his room.

Amazing an very kind!! My daughter absolutely loves it there she’s already learnt so many things an the care an understanding they provide to not just my daughter but me as well is just incredible, they always update you about how shes went and what they’ve learned throughout the day an they’re definitely incredible at what they do and I wouldn’t put my daughter into anywhere else!

I previously worked at Chipmunks in the Forest and had the most welcoming experience there. The staff are friendly, caring, passionate and overall so lovely. The layout of the centre gives the best opportunity for different learning experiences, activities and teaching moments. The centre features an actual backyard with real grass and their very own chicken for the children to nurture, learn and care for. The educators put their utmost effort into making the children’s learning development, growth and care is the best it can be. The director of the centre has everyone’s best intentions at heart including the children, staff, families and community.

Highly recommend for families looking for a centre for their children and childcare educators looking for a centre to work at!

Very friendly and inviting staff. From the moment we have dropped our kids off, to when we pick them up, it is evident that they have had a great day. Cannot fault the environments and staff. Definitely recommend this service, to anyone looking for childcare

My kids going there for quite a sometimes now . I am very happy with all the educator works there . They are very organized and caring . It’s really sad how people jump to an conclusion without knowing the real Story. I will never think of sending my kids else where . Keep up the good work guys .

The staff show such passion and care for my children. Yes a child got out but they have responded and notified parents who were involved and who were not. They have fixed the issue and notified the relevant authorities.
They are amazing educators. Caring and compasionate.
I would not send my children anywhere else.

I would highly recommend chipmunks in the forest, it's not fair to give bad reviews without knowing what exactly happened. My kids are going there for quite some time now and I feel safe leaving them there. The centre has experienced staff, please don't give any bad review until you have experienced the service.

My son Eli has been going to the centre since he was 6 months old and he has thrived and flourished into a happy and confident 5 year old. He will be attending Primary School next year and I am so happy with the tools Chipmunks have given him to succeed. The educators are lovely and so personable; they truly care about the children.
They know each child individually, their likes and dislikes, their needs and habits and help them to grow.
The best decision I made for my son was to send him to this center and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone to Chipmunks. I will definitely be back if I have more children in the future.

Attended a tour today for potential placement at the centre.

Before we walked in we heard an educator yelling “JUST WAIT” in a rude tone to one of the kids not sure what that was about.

Secondly we walked in the staff member who greeted us was nice and completed our tour. She allowed us to spend some time in one of the rooms where my daughter would have been placed. My daughter was crawling and seems to enjoy the room at first and there was a sweet girl who interacted with my child, there was another girl who was snatching the dummy out of my daughters shirt and then proceeded to push her which caused her to fall and get scared and cried. That child then push another child and one of the educators responded by “she likes to be the centre of attention and I think she wanted to hug her” whilst she said that she pushed a boy over. Educators tried and intervened but the girl has an aggressive nature. I felt unsafe for my daughter being placed at the centre. As we walked out there was a child standing naked child the front area in full view of us being changed. They should have taken them to the bathroom for privacy, knowing that a tour was happening. This is unacceptable.

I’ve been to multiple centres but this by far has left me feeling uneasy and concerned.
I would feel terrible if I did not leave a genuine review for future mums looking for somewhere for their child.
