Berkelo Brookvale

Lovely cafe, hidden gem for locals and the gym attendees next door. The bread is incredible and the coffee is superb. Lovely service from genuine caring staff. Can be difficult to park, and please be mindful not to block the neighbours driveways - this is half residential, half light industrial estate.

Best bakery in Sydney. These guys don’t cut corners in terms of quality! Always a joy coming to Berkelo. Service is wonderful. Bread here is second to none. 😍😍😍

A funky& calm cafe / with a fantastic sourdough bakery.
A pleasant , casual cafe with outdoor tables, with an artisan feel and far enough from busy Pittwater Rd to be quiet enough to hear the birds. I got tumeric and ? tea 😋 and sourdough bread. A nice healthy place for all ages: call in if you like a cuppa plus a few cookies & a cake while you pick up your sourdough ( and even family pies).

Brad is an amazing Barista, amazing coffee, forget the big names in Sydney, low profile is the way to go, come and enjoy the blend!!!!

Banana bread is my favourite! Best ever. Have also enjoyed the seasonal veg box, and my family loved the sourdough.

Excellent sourdough went here today on my way to a client as I live in SWS and there is no Artisan sprouted sourdough to be seen.

Omg it did not disappoint it toasted up beautifully it really made my day so thanks for that. Unfortunately my last day with client 😕 so can't get back. But now I know the difference between rubbish fake sourdough like woolworths lol and the real thing I won't be settling for less.

Very lucky here to have access to such great produce yet I see some people complaining lol you should come to my area then you might learn gratitude! 😉 be greatful for what is right in front of your eyes and don't sweat the small stuff!

Fantastic little breakfast nook - only just discovered it online over the weekend - just wish I'd found it earlier - I've only lived in Brookvale for about 5 years! 😴

I always look forward to my weekly coffee and croissant, and without fail, Berkelo will always be one of my first stops after I have been away.

The recent renovation has improved the location, allowing for indoor seating on cooler/wet days.
Please don't be fooled by the less glowing reviews, and don't wait to give your feedback online.... have a chat to the lovely people there. They will go out of their way to make things right!

Been going regularly for their delicious spelt bread today I had the best ever vegan pie and buns it’s soya free!I’ll be back for more and I forgot they have amazing homemade tomato relish too!!

First time I had bought their Mince Pies as they were highly recommended by The Sydney Morning Herald. They didn't disappoint! They are more expensive than the supermarket purchased ones but they're worth it. They are not overly sweet and packed with fruit! None of the sweet syrupy stuff. I'll be make again next yeart for more.

This is the best bakery on the Northern Beaches! A little hidden gem, has the BEST croissants in the whole world! Lovely selection of pastries, I always try to stop by here for a quick brekky before work. LOVE!

You haven’t eaten sausage rolls until you’ve experienced Berkelo... ask for the accompanying relish, and you’ll do a happy dance. Amazing stuff - and worth the $.

Could this be Sydney’s best? Their sourdough is exquisite, and their tiny treats fabulous. These guys are MASTER bakers and likely have few peers. Service is good too - staff are always friendly. Coffee is great.

Consistently excellent bread. Love the variety & especially the black rye - chewy, tasty and substantial.
