Armidale Tourist Park

Really appreciated this place.
We just camped, but they had clean, well equipped facilities, HOT showers, and sensible layout. We called ahead and arrived after reception closed: they made it all super easy to get in and set up. Simple service done well 👍

Stayed here for work and was put in one of the newer cabins out the back with the carports, the bed was very comfortable and the place was fully kitted out with everything I needed - full size fridge, stove, sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, and basic cooking utensils, cutlery, even an oven tray!

I had a little trouble once with the pedestrian gate's electronic system and the lady in the office was happy to help (I apparently needed to press 'C' to cancel any buttons others may have pressed before entering the code)

The area seemed pretty quiet while I was there, and although I didn't make use of them there are plenty of on site facilities such as a common kitchen, showers, pool and beautiful little pond it might be nice to walk around.

Friendly warm reception from Lynne on arrival. She looked after our every need in finding us the right caravan site for us.

Clean, great amenities, well maintained gardens and pool. The community hall was packed full of fun activities for all ages.

Stayed here when I visited Armidale for my university graduation. I came with my whole family and the staff were accommodating with my late check in request. They were able to give me access. Overall it’s a lovely place to stay, very relaxing, close to everything you need in Armidale. Kids loved the playground and just walking around the park was very safe. Thank you very much for a lovely experience.

Beautiful, peaceful, shady, clean park. Was going to stay one night only, made it two. Possibly in the top 5 all time favourite parks.

Quiet, gated park. We had a beautiful view from our annex and plenty of room. We stayed four nights but could have stayed longer as Armidale is such a pretty town and lots of nearby places to visit. Recommend going to the local Tourist Centre and doing the bus tour.

Great place. Neat, clean, good showers, quiet park. Definitely recommended for any caravaners.

Absolutely in love with this place. Made the last minute booking over the phone, reception was supa friendly and made everything so straightforward. The large site has lots to offer, hot shower, flush toilets, laundry, BBQ, kitchen, pool, kids play ground, tennis court, entertainment room incl TV, table tennis, etc. and gym (and someone was actually using it, lol). Soft grassy tent ground with privacy, looks like every 2 powered sites share double running taps, which has saved me numerous trips. Clean and well maintained site, pet friendly is a huge bonus. This park offers a variety of stays and it's well located, Armidale is so big to offer everything, fuel, fruits, supermarkets, and restaurants etc., easy for us to re-stock. Always pay my visit to Armidale and Uralla in the fall and will definitely go back for a longer stay.

Dog friendly cabin was great. Very basic styling but you would expect as much with any number of pets coming to visit it. We had a very brief one-night stay, bringing our very large fur baby on our trip to collect another fur baby we were adopting the next day. The cabin was comfortable, easy to keep clean with our dog and had everything we needed. The park managers pre-warmed it and had the light on for us as we were arriving very late. Very helpful and friendly service, I will definitely look to this park again for a longer stay in the future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay in Armidale. Our cabin was clean and fresh and we found the park to have a friendly at atmosphere.

Powered site. Concrete slab. Grassy choice. Shady. Sunny. Quiet and away or close to everything.
What more could you want. Friendly staff. Lovely shady trees. Beautiful Clean pool. Jumping pillow ( my husbands back didn’t like. But he is 63 🤣)
And most of all pet friendly.
We loved the clean shady kitchen area too. Thanks guys. We will be back.

Attended a dog show here. 3 days. The facilities are very clean.... plenty of room on my powered site for my van and gazebo. Very dog friendly.... surprisingly quiet! The grounds are gorgeous! Gardens so pretty! Thankyou for having me and my dog!!!

Great area and facilities. Would be good to have another camp kitchen on both sides of the grounds. Great common room, fun kids area, tennis court needs a looking after, Good selection of powered sites to suit different people and plenty of non powered as well. Definitely recommend!! 😀

Nice grassy sites. Can pick your own site. Very reasonable cost, especially if you're a Gday Parks member.

Fantastic caravan park , good amenities, games room, laundry and close to town. Friendly staff

this is one of the best caravan parks you will find. the staff are amazing. the park has all the facilities you need for a great stay. the prices are cheaper than most other parks. there's plenty of space, grassy areas and trees. its situated on the main road on the outskirts of town. 20 minutes walk to the center. i thoroughly recommend staying here

Park is very clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and so were the patrons. Well serviced cabin with heat blanket on the double and donnas on the bunks. Air con was quiet and worked very well during the cold night. All kitchen utensils for cooking are provided. Jumping pillow and swimming pool and lots of room to ride bikes. Games room for kids and lots of bins and recycling around the park as well as in the cabin. We came after hours and they had turned on the lights in our cabin to make it easy to find. Reception has a stock of food as well as being 5min from the centre of town. thumbs up all round will definitely come again on our way to and from Qld
