Monto Colonial Motor Inn

We really enjoyed our stay at Monto Colonial Motor Inn. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The restaurant was a highlight for us. We were delighted with our meal and the atmosphere. Managers were very friendly and efficient. They emailed me before our stay to see if we had any special requests. Amazing!! Would stay again without hesitation.

A fine establishment. Great motel. Owner is a lovely bloke who offers great hospitality if needed. Don’t book on wotif.. you will get overcharged. Just rock up and get a room!

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of a trip up north to Mission Beach, in order to explore Cania Gorge NP. Arrived late & was not a problem for owners. Well located, warm, clean & comfortable rooms for our stay - close to fuel, grocery shops, coffee, pubs for dinner.

Very quiet, clean and affordable.

I’ve been staying weekly at this motel due to working away from home. And I can not express how welcomed , polite and amazed how well I was treated here. Clean efficient rooms and fantastic managers. Every day after work I’d come back to a freshly made bed, cleaned room and fresh towels ect. I was given pre-made lunches if wanted daily consisting of sandwiches x2, sofdrink can, cake, Muslim bar , water , chips and 2 pieces of fruit. And the meals you can order nightly (room service ) is amazing!

Awesome clean rooms and comfortable

Came through for work. Stayed the night which was great. All necessary amenities, was pretty happy.

Best part was the service. I left something behind and needed to ask an additional favour which they were happy to do both.

Five stars for the service!

The people that run this place are absolutely amazing. This place is a hidden gem and its run by a butcher so you can only imagine the food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Older building but tidy great place to stay while passing through.
