No. 10 James Street

Wow , refurbished No 10 James St is now a lot more open, breathable Interior with a touch of pink which gives the place a feel of feminine, white titled counter which display magnificent sweets. So impressed.
I had the corn fritters , added a poached egg - delicious.

We needed to make a stop for our daughter to use the facilities and we stumbled across this quaint cafe. The decor and ambience was amazing. Bunny, the lady that served us was so lovely. She made a special babycino for our daughter who was coincidentally celebrating her birthday that day with lots of sprinkles and marshmallows! Great coffee and sandwiches!! We will definitely be back!

The breakfast was delicious. The bread was crunchy and the hummus tasted nice. Coffee was average. Location is perfect and was luckily open during the long weekend friday

Seriously friendly staff, very welcoming and attentive!! Good selection of drinks, scrambled eggs were soft n fluffy!! If you have a sweet tooth heaps of delicious options 🤝🏼🤝🏼

Visited Geelong for a couple of days and walked past this place and thought we'd give it a try. I ordered the club sandwich & the wife ordered the cauliflower white bean fennel soup of the day. Worried a little the soup would be bland but it was delicious and so was the club sandwich which needed a little salt and pepper which I added myself. Good service and good food 👍🏼.

Stopped over for a quick breakfast before heading to Twelve Apostles. It was a amazing discovery. The big breakfast was huge and definitely tasty. Dun miss out their cakes! we ordered carrot cake, blueberry muffin. Moist and not too sweet.. Love it. We also ordered chocchips cookie, macaroon and chicken avocado sandwich for take away along our drive. All tasted so good. Definitely a place for stopover if goin for GreatOceanRoad trip.

Lovely breakfast, great coffee and friendly staff

I tried the frittata, which is quite nice. The flourless orange almond cake was moist and perfectly balanced. However, the real showstopper was the brioche Nutella french toast that my friend ordered and was nice enough to let me try. It came with raspberries and crushed honeycomb chocolate and the toast was cooked perfectly. Easily the best french toast I have tried. So while the savoury treats at James St Bakery & Cafe are okay, the real pleasure is their sweets.

Had a delicious breakfast here that was very reasonably priced. Good coffee, nice staff, and a great atmosphere!

Delicious cakes and good coffee. Seems like the original owner who runs the business for 13 years is leaving and a new owner is taking over the business very soon.

Shared a table recently, ate the famous pie and my friend had the fresh baguette, it was delish we will
definitely be back 😋 the service was accompanied bye a smiling face and great coffee.

New owner in her first few weeks of setting up. She was lovely and super accommodating with some vegan suggestions for me and options for my sister (non vegan) as well. Sounds like she has some exciting things planned and I’d happily return when I’m next back in Geelong. Only suggestion would be that it was a little cold inside, so maybe some heating before the cafe opens.

Girls were very friendly , good breakfast! Coconut muffin was delicious not too sweet too .

Love this place, feels cosy and safe for my anxious lil self! Coffee is always tasty and the pastries are always fresh and 11/10 yum. Great range of sandwiches/to go items as well as plated breakfasts and lunch.

3 days into new management-and the food was delicious. The new owner was brilliant and our work team of 4 from New Zealand left having thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Highly recommend !

I stopped at James Street on my way back to the station. It's on the same road as Cartel and it seems to be a great little area. The waitress was really nice, my Indian pasty was delicious and I enjoyed my coffee too. I sat outside and enjoyed the good weather, it was nice after my ride back from Queenscliff. I'd definitely go back for that pasty!

Absolutely great! Walk in and greeted by a warm welcome and a lovely atmosphere. I ordered a English breakfast tea and the cheesy toast with poached eggs and bacon. The tea cup was so fancy and adorable , and the meal came very quickly and tasted amazing ☺ definitely will come back again!
