Coconut Grove Apartments Port Douglas

A group of us recently stayed at Coconut Grove for 3 nights. We booked the 5 bedroom apartment and you honestly cannot get a better place to stay in Port.
The apartment was huge! It comfortably sleeps 10 people, it’s extremely spacious both inside and outside.
The location is prime, walking distance to absolutely everything Port Douglas has to offer and to top it off the staff are super lovely.
Will definitely be staying here every time we visit now.

Perfect place to stay. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, well furnished and very clean. All the staff, reception, maintenance, cleaners were all lovely. Great location being on Macrossan Street but at the quieter end with the beach 30 seconds away. Possibly the best apartment complex I've ever stayed in within Australia (and I've travelled extensively over the years so that's saying something). The welcome cheese board and crackers was spot on too.

Great upmarket place that had everything you need.
We had a penthouse apartment with private rooftop pool and spa , very good sitting the spa each evening with a cold drink watching the tropical thunderstorms roll in.
Staff are excellent

Amazing!!! Traveled all over the world & stayed in many nice places but never have I ever stayed in such beautiful accommodations. Definitely a place I would return to.

Amazing accommodation in Port Douglas!!
We have stayed here numerous times over the years as there is nowhere better. Website photos of accommodation & terrace areas are exactly what you get.

Walking distance to restaurants & four mile beach.

Photos are very accurate to the rooms & views. Great location, close to cafes & shops plus Four Mile Beach. Everything was very clean. My only negative would be the pillows provided were not good quality.

Lovely quiet well appointed apartment with private heated spa and pool. Excellent pleasant service from all staff. Perfectly located in close walking distance to great coffee and restaurants etc. Highly recommended if you need a peaceful holiday.

Fantastic location right in the Main Street near great restaurants. A beautiful resort that was really clean and very well presented. We had to postpone a few times due to covid, but staff were awesome and changed our booking easily. Arrived to a lovely cheese platter in fridge that we enjoyed sitting around our rooftop pool. Highly recommend staying at Coconut Grove, we will definitely be staying there again.

Perfect! We were searching Port Douglas for some high end accommodation for our honeymoon. Looked at some of the '5 Star' options in town that looked a bit tired. I'm so glad we came across Coconut Grove apartments! This place was stunning. The location is absolutely ideal, right on the main street of Port Douglas where all the shops and restaurants are. We did not use our car once. The private pool and BBQ area was such a nice touch. Enjoying a drink in the afternoon sun in your own pool overlooking the main drag of town became a daily ritual. The bed was comfy and the whole apartment and public areas were beautiful, the place had a really nice feel to it. We will be back one day. Thanks for a great stay CG!

We had a great stay at the Coconut Grove apartments. The apartments are HUGE, really well appointed, well stocked and excellent location! We were a group of 4 friends, we opted for a 2 bed Penthouse and there was heaps of room. We could walk to everything in town, beach, marina, and play cards on the lovely balcony. Upstairs we had our private pool and spa. The only thing I would change... we would have preferred a heated spa, because the peak season is winter it really makes sense! That said in mid May, it was still fine to swim unheated during the day. The staff were really helpful and lovely. We had a rental car and parking in the secure garage was easy. 5 stars!

Located at the start of the shops & only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Staff were lovely & rooms were clean, spacious & well appointed. Would not hesitate in staying there again.

Excellent location, well appointed self contained apartments very close to the beach 🏖 & all restaurants. Have stayed many places in PD but would rate this up there as one of the best. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely return to stay again

We loved our stay at coconut grove. Nikki was extremely helpful, nothing was too hard and she was always happy to help. Maintenance and room cleaners were also friendly. The apartments are conveniently located on the main street in Port Douglas in between Four Mile Beach and all the shops and dining. The apartments themselves are clean, modern and spacious. We can't wait to return to Port Douglas and we would love to stay at coconut grove again.

Great location, the apartments are off the main road, close to shops and various restaurants. The staff were welcoming and friendly. As we had hired a car, the staff also provided us access to a separate section of the car park behind a set of roller doors that also gave us access to the apartment complex. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, the kitchen area was also stocked with plates, bowls, cutlery and kitchen utensils. The only thing needed is cooking oil of you plan on doing some of your own cooking, but there a Coles supermarket within walking distance nearby. Great place to stay.

Coconut Grove is pretty much the peak Port Douglas experience. Right in the centre of town, a small walk from the shops, markets and beach, it's the best place to stay. The apartments are incredible, well furnished, modern, clean and spacious, with a private pool, spa and barbecue, as well as plenty of open air space for sunbathing and relaxing. As if that weren't incredible enough, the people at Coconut Grove are something else entirely. My Uncle suffered a back injury while he was staying here by himself (until I joined him for a week), which rendered him immobile and in immense pain. The staff at Coconut Grove went above and beyond to help him, escorting him to the local chiropractor, providing extra service and care constantly, and making sure his trip was as comfortable as it could possibly be given his injury. They were under NO obligations, but still they proved to be as helpful as if we were at a hospital. Absolutely incredible people, so amazingly kind and helpful. That's reason enough to stay at Coconut Grove every time.

Stayed 7 days and would love to come back. Great location as it is walking distance to almost everything in Port Douglas. Nicely appointed apartments, we had a 2 bdrm terrace with the pool an spa out the front. We were in the pool all the time and having your own is absolutely great. This place is our new favourite and we are already planning the next trip.
Honestly the only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a complete pain as you had to constantly reconnect and log in. Became very frustrating after a few days. All four of us were over this by the end.
Other than the wifi the week was excellent and we will be going back.

We got in late. The minute we arrived and realised there was no reception after 5.30, we received a text with our entry code right on cue.
Relief. Checked into our room, aircon pumped high the smell of coconut permeated down the hall way . Cheese platter in fridge, coffee pods ready to go. This place is so well appointed, roof top pool is amazing and the staff are absolutely accomodating and lovely. We loved it and can’t wait to come back. . 5 stars guys.

Such a wonderful place to stay, we stayed for our wedding and the service and rooms were just exceptional. Highly recommend this for your next visit to Port Douglas!
