Ravenshoe Hotel

Popped in here for lunch today on our trip to The Tablelands. We found the staff and the locals to be very friendly. The beer was cold, and the food was excellent.
The kids menu is one of the best we've seen for quality, and quantity. The young bloke got a kids Chicken Parmigiana, and it was huge. I can only imagine how big the adult's one is.
The famous curries live up to their reputation. Highly recommended, a must do on the Tablelands.

Absolutely exceptional food and service.
The butter chicken was amazing with its own unique flavour.
Steak cooked perfectly.
Mash potato perfectly as it was creamy and mashy.
Fish and chips was cooked exceptionally.

A beautiful meal shared with 25 other people for a work function. We used the upstairs verandah, beautiful space set up by Wendy and her staff. Food was amazing and priced accordingly. We even ordered drinks upstairs and paid via EFTPOS, making everything very easy and enjoyable. Will come again.

After a long wet drive we were greeted by warmth and hospitality, and a warm bowl of St. Pattys day stew! The staff were delightful!

Sam and his family were the perfect hosts and the staff were amazing as we spoke about life in the country. The room #1 was spacious with doors opening to two verandahs so it felt like a large house with dining table on one side and lounge on the other. The food is unbelievable and some of the best we've had (and I've travelled extensively) with beef fillet that is soft and succulent and cooked to perfect and homemade authentic home made curry. Looking forward to staying again.

Our party for Xmas Day lunch was 8 adults plus a 2 year old. Unfortunately, the drive from where most of us live in Innisfail took 2.5hrs, due to the aftermath of the floods closing our normal 1hr route up the Palmerston Hwy.
Let me tell you, we all thought it was well worth it. We couldn't fault a thing. The beautiful decorations, festive table settings and the owner, Wendy, welcomed every guest.
All of us loved the extensive menu which was cooked to perfection. Roast pork, beef, ham, lamb and chicken with baked veg and all the trimmings. Salads, curry, rice and papadams, plus a choice of delious desserts. To everyone's surprise there was also large fresh succulent prawns. It was a buffet and the food was regularly replenished and plentiful. The price was only $50 per head. We all had the best time and will definitely go again next year. Congratulations to Wendy and her team for making our Christmas lunch so enjoyable. Thank you from all of us. 🎅🤶🎄❤

Had lunch there recently, the lamb shank was the best I've ever had, served in a deep dish with mash, vegetables, and a beautiful sauce all over, pasta carbonara also served in a deep dish with bacon etc and plenty of sauce. Both meals were beautiful.

Very highly rate this Pub. The meal serve size is more than generous. The food is well presented and cooked to perfection. The sauces are generous and tasty. And the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Kudos to the chef and the staff. 5 ⭐ for this quintessential country pub.

A relaxing country pub environment with great meals has me eating this hotel highly.

Getting smashed with bad weather on the coast so we started Looking for a dry place to stay for a couple of days on our way to Darwin,
Booked into the Ravenshoe Hotel, beautiful old hotel,
From the time we arrived till we checked out we were made welcome
Meals were great, I am terrible with names, the barmaid was very friendly
And the lovely lady taking the meal orders is very passionate about the hotels
History and always happy to answer questions about the hotel and the local area.
Definitely will be back.

My wife and I had dinner there tonight. The food was amazing. My Chicken Parmy was huge and beautifully cooked. My wife said hers was the best Lamb Shank she has ever
had - and she's had a few over time. The staff were also lovely. Only good things to say about this pub. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Staff are super attentive and so lovely, they couldn’t have been more welcoming. The food was amazing, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Definitely recommend.

Great food and incredibly friendly service. The current operators are doing a great job with the meals. Standard pub food just done bloody well. Our group had the fish and chips, parmie, grilled chicken salad and a couple of kids meals. All excellent. Spied some additional sub-continenat additions to the menu, so I'll be heading back as soon as I can get the time to try the vindaloo. Never thought I'd be making a special trip to Ravenshoe Pub for a vindaloo...but here we are.

This is exactly how a good pub on the countryside should be. Very friendly and Dusty locals. Am sorry amazing pup classics.. and the feeling that the time just stands still.
I can only recommend this place and will be back for sure!!!

Great food at great prices. Old world charm. Definitely worth the drive. I'll be back soon.
