Beautiful and peaceful. Picnic ground had heaps of space. Toilets are clean and tidy, also wheel chair accessible. Though space is limited inside the toilets.
Paved walk way all the way to the lookout making it pram and wheelchair friendly. Great viewing for every generation.

A nice place for a break , has a nice picnicking area and ablutions.
The walk down to the falls looks dawnting but it's really an easy stroll

This is true Australiana up close and personal. It had been raining and the smell of eucalyptus from the gum trees was heavy in the air. The falls are a very easy 300 metre walk down from a shady carpark. A bit steep, but probably manageable in a wheel chair with strong control. The Millstream Falls are reputedly the widest single drop falls in Australia. Very pretty. Lots of information also about the lava flows that made the area and are still visible. Adjacent to carpark are clean, pleasant biocycle toilets (ramp access) and a large grassed picnic aea with BBQ's and tables under shelters. A few kookaburras were around. Beware they will happily snap up food from your plate, especially if its a sausage, as their main food source is snakes. Very close by and along a wide dirt track is a 1 kilometer walk through a historical site from the Australian soldiers' encampments during WW2. You can turn back if its too long. Plaques along the way tell of life here in between the soldiers' deployment in New Guinea. Intriguing, even to me, who has no interest in armies or war. Very human insight into that time. This includes remnants of the mantlepiece from the fire place in the 'mess', covered trenches to jump into if attacked, and granite slabs relocated to make 'park benches'.

Beautiful! Is just a look out though, no swimming. So only head out if you want to go for a very short walk and to take some photos.

Steep walk 2 c all of falls but worth it beautiful, widest waterfalls in Australia. Platypus on dark, feeding. Not far off major highway, road in needs attention. Photos good, video is best.

Beautiful waterfalls. Very Ancient place
We love everything about it. Make sure your car is in good condition before you head here. The road is a bit bumpy when its raining in some part of the unsealed road

Good exercise jaunt to the falls lookout which reveals a spectacular wide display of running water. Historic armed forces area adjoining may be of interest.

Gorgeous place for a rest and walk. I highly recommend you take the loop through the forest and observe history from WWII about 20-30 minutes.

From the parking lot Millstream Falls is less than a 10 minute walk to a raised platform where you can view the falls from afar. There isn't access to the base of the falls unless you go off track.

An easy walk that is tarred all the way to view the falls. Great for families with small children as you can take the pram with you. Lots of parking for large vehicles too.
