Great view of the wind turbines, can dam near touch them, good car parking area, short walk to an undercover viewing area, can be cold and windy(hence the turbines). The turn-off is only a 100 metres or so from the main road, turn-off is signposted as is the parking area and there are information signs as well, only a few kilometres from Ravenshoe.

Nice little carpark and just a few steps and you are on a path running past several turbines, with a covered area and info a short walk further along. It wasn't very windy during my visit, but it was still quite interesting. Would have been better on a windier day

This is unigue, noisy and quite amazing to see those big turbines turning. A little eerie. I did not realise how big they were.

An interesting place to stop at for a minute on the side of the road. There is a sign with information. You stand almost right next to a wind turbine.

Pretty country, even without the windfarm which is neat. On the day we went the farm was turning, yet so quiet all we could hear was all the cows chewing grass. Worth a stop on your way past.

A viewing area for wind turbines is a very Queenslander-thing to have. I brought someone along from Victoria and they didn't understand what the big deal is to Queenslanders, as some Victorians see wind turbines everyday. It was interesting seeing how different people react differently. A wind farm nearly 20 years old does, however, deserve some recognition if it's the only one in Queensland.

Absolutely amazing. My personal favourite of our Tablelands Tour. The informational board had all the information required. So great to see these monsters so close.

This windmill farm appeared in front of me. Never having the opportunity to get so close before I pulled over. Surprised to find an official viewing area with some signage about the place. I thought it was really interesting!
