My Dream Cake - Pakenham

Placed my first online order last week. Customer service from the start was exceptional. I received a phone call to advise that one of my items was out of stock and was given option to wait a couple of days for it to come in/cancel order/change to another brand. Very impressive!
I chose to wait and my order was shipped on the day promised. There was a small issue with one incorrect item being sent. I sent an email to let them know and within minutes I had an apology and the correct item is being expressed shipped to me.
I have no problems with this small mistake being made - we are all just people doing our best - but the instant follow up and resolution is what has really impressed me - I will definitely be ordering again.

Loved it.. With my passion for baking, I love to be there watching every item. Almost everything you need can be found.

If I could give more stars I would, Kaitlin is the nicest person, handled my over excited grandkids like a pro.

The merchandise is mind-blowing, with very well priced stuff for everyone from mums doing a one off cake on a budget, to your professional cake maker.

But the strength of My Dream Cake lays in its awesome staff, with Kaitlin at the helm.

I cannot recommend My Dream Cake enough!

I had a rush cake to make which required an edible image asap and these guys always deliver! I've been coming up here for over a year now and I truly didn't appreciate how totally amazing the girls up here truly are till yesterday. Mel has always been so helpful and friendly and always offers amazing advice when I need it. she really knows her stuff when it comes to cake making and if you ever come up here make sure you stop and chat with her. She has some great tips and tricks she loves to share with you that she's picked up overt the years.
Yesterday, as always she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for this cake nightmare which without her would have been a cake disaster. All the girls up there are fabulous. always so friendly and helpful. Thanks again ladies for being a god send for us cake novices out there.

What a great experience. I came in last Saturday afternoon with a wedding cake to make and had no idea where to start. Melisa was more than accomodating with heaps of tips and information to make the baking and decorating of this cake a breeze. I feel so much more confident now and she even offered for me to call or pop in if I need any more help as it gets closer.
Great prices, friendly helpful staff and absolutely everything from a to z you need to make the most amazing cake. Will be coming here from now on for all my future cake making.

Tonight however, for the first time I came in with my 2yo son and I was so humiliated by his behaviour. I wanted to cry. I am 8 months pregnant and struggling. He was running a much andni couldn't control him. It was embarrassing while I was trying to shop for cake supplies. But the woman on tonight (Friday 7th may) was my absolute saviour. She went above and beyond helpful to help me. She could see I was stressed and struggling with him while trying to shop. Her assistance was just beyond any customer service inhave ever seen. Truly a kind soul with such a understanding and helpful nature.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so helpful with my shopping. Assistance and being so good about my son that was just being far too much. My sincerest apologies for him.

Great service during this pandemic at Pakenham store. Did place the order over the phone while I was outside n requested for collection in 5 minutes. Got the stuffs as I expected. Very well organised n super duper customer service.

Very helpful staff and a mind boggling range of stuff. I decided to try and decorate a cake for my sons birthday (until now it had been pushing smarties and kitkats into icing).
The staff helped me get everything I needed and it cost less than I thought. When she realised I had no idea she spent some time giving me tips and ideas.
Im super happy with the results and i'll definitely be back with more ambitious ideas

It is such a helpful and great place, it’s the only place we’re i am able to get all the supplies I need for baking, and it’s just generally a really cool place like they literally have everything!!

First time there today and was served by Kathryn, nothing was too much effort. Kathryn was highly knowledgeable, helpful and all done with a smile, my daughter can't wait to bake the cake, thanks Kathryn.
