Family get together for 21 elder people over 3 days. Loved the accommodation which catered for all our needs. All mod cons and areas for quiet or more active activity. Beautiful setting in lovely gardens and fantastic walks among wonderful early autumn leaves and majestic gums. Close to Healesville which has all types of food - boutique butchers, cafes, cake shops and cheese monger. We hired a bus to spend a day at some wineries and the Tarrawarra Museum of Art and loved the views as we drove from place to place.
Every one loved Glenlowren and recommend it to all.

A lovely place for a relaxing break. Really well presented and comfortable accomodation. Everything you need. You cook your own hearty breakfast with the supplied produce. The eggs from the hens outside were beautiful. Lovely setting and beautiful in Autumn 🍁🍁

We stayed at Glenlowren while in the Yarra Valley for a wedding. Tinne and Pieter were very approachable and communicative. The room was amazing, in a lovely private setting. Full kitchen amenities and wifi, also parking. Close to wineries and towns. Perfect for couple. Would strongly recommend to others.

I spent two lovely nights at Glenlowren earlier this month after hearing about it from a friend. Beautiful country farm B&B that looks like something out of a fairy tale. Idyllic setting, wonderful hosts who were available but respected privacy. Beautifully appointed Settlers Cottage, amazing fireplace, fresh flowers throughout, all the fixings for a hearty breakfast and great location. Global Ballooning is right next door. I had booked a flight in Melbourne so didn’t fly there but first class operation as well.

We stayed at Glenlowren with our family for our wedding weekend and cannot speak highly enough of our experience. The hosts were super friendly and very welcoming! The house is spacious and caters perfectly for large groups. The grounds of Glenlowren were beautifully maintained! we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property on our bikes. The house was super tidy and stocked full of everything you would need for a big family getaway. A perfect place for a weekend getaway with large groups. Super kid friendly with space for all to have quiet time with all rooms having individual ensuites. Thanks for having us! We will defiantly be back!

My sister and I stayed at the Nissan Hut for two nights. The place was amazing with furnishings and decor of high quality. The quiet ambiance and gorgeous scenery was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wendy and Robyn

Im still a little speechless! The Nissan Hut is absolutely beautiful. Such a calming and cozy place to stay, with beautiful furnishings and so just so many extra touches thought of that make everything feel so perfect! We have decided to make our stay at the Nissan Hut a yearly treat and cant wait to visit again.

We stayed at the Nissen Hut whilst our friends took the main house which is enormous, country classic and a lot of fun. It also includes an enormous dining table, where we all came together for dinner/drinks and enjoyed the bar and table tennis table.

The hut is not really a hut but a very luxurious 2-bedroom house that comfortably slept us and our kids. This was probably the first time I noticed that everything you needed was actually there, clean and worked. The décor, fittings and furnishings were modern and classic country and gave the house a nice feel. You walked in to the fire burning…heaps of wood and we enjoyed it straight away.

The property is peaceful and the farm animals are well cared for and great to watch.

The hut would be a great place to lock yourself away and write a book or just have some time out from busy Melbourne.
I will be returning.

Glenlowren is elegant and down to earth at the same time. I approached my cabin through acres of farm animals and stunning perennial gardens. I entered to 6 arrangements of fresh flowers dotted throughout the cabin. Fresh bread, eggs from the farm, yogurt, granola, veggies, milk, juice, coffee and tea filled the kitchen fridge. I never saw a single person during my 3 night, magical setting. Birdlife was prolific. Each night I received an email asking if I needed anything. A really lovely, peaceful respite. One final note, I conveniently visited wineries and hiked trails during each day.

Stayed in Nissen Hut for 2 nights, wish we could extend our stay the moment we arrived at the property. Apart from nesting in its beautiful surroundings, the interior decor, comfort, maintenance & cleanliness are top-notch as well. Owners are very thoughtful in preparation for guests’ arrival and we truly felt welcomed. The well-stocked kitchen, fruit basket & complimentary port wine, just to name a few.

Special mention for the extremely clean and luxurious the bathrooms, its a shame we rarely come across such well-kept bathrooms in 5-star properties nowadays.

We had an excellent stay at the Cottage at Glenlowren. The deck facing the lake and surrounds was our favourite. The breakfast produce provided was perfect. The cottage was comfortable and rustic yet still equipped with luxuries like bathroom floor heating, heated towel rack, dishwasher, big shower and nice kitchen. We'd highly recommend

Our stay in the Nissen Hut at Glenlowren was exceptional. This is the most beautiful accommodation, finished to the highest standard, spotlessly clean and with every conceivable luxury provided. The gardens and wetlands are spectacular and impeccably maintained. Thoughtful touches greet you at every corner... from the amazing breakfast supplies to the port on the sideboard for a little nightcap, fresh flowers, books and games - everything was perfect. Thank you so much for our wonderful getaway. We will be back.

The Nissen Hut is truly a very well-appointed luxury accommodation. It is as cosy & welcoming as a home, but the decor, colour scheme & finishing touches gives a sense of splendor.

For city dwellers, this get-away is more than delightful and honestly, what we needed for the mind and soul.
To be in the middle of picturesque views and sounds of nature, it is the perfect change of scenery.

We have stayed at Glenlowren twice now. Besides being a stunning location, what really won me over was how peaceful and quiet it was! Such a relaxing experience away from our busy year. The owners are kind and helpful. The cottages clean and well maintained. It is located within a few minutes from local wineries and walking trails as well.

Staying in the Nissen Hut was magical! It was such a beautiful setting and the accomodation was gorgeous! Tinne was lovely and very accommodating. Perfect for a cold, winter weekend as it was nice having the fire going and enjoying ourselves with good food and wine. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to the Yarra Valley.

Absolute gem tucked away from any hustle and bustle. Beautifully landscaped farmland with relaxing gardens. We stayed in the cottage and it was splendid. The owners have thought of all of the final touches to make the stay amazing. It was also probably the cleanest place that I have stayed in. Not to mention the beautiful view of the wetlands that you wake up to in the morning. Definitely recommend!

The perfect place to relax and get away from it all! We just loved our stay at Glenlowran. It was delightful! The attention to detail of all that we might need was wonderful. The cabin was sparkling clean and the views out each window were so lovely. We would recommend staying at Glenlowran to everyone! Treat yourself! You won’t regret it!

We managed to get away for a magical few days here. Some friendly dogs keen to make friends with children (and a few curious pigs and cows nearby too!). We found a tiny frog living in the shower, the kids were delighted. Very cute. I did migrate it elsewhere though since we weren't sure how it would tolerate the water temperatures of a shower. Yarra Glen Chocolaterie and Healesville nearby, convenient. All beautiful. Loved it.

What a wonderful slice of heaven in the Yarra Valley. My family of 20 all came together at this venue as a reunion (post COVID) and to celebrate a 60th birthday. The Homestead was so well thought out and beautifully presented and had everything you could think of for a stay. My whole family had such an amazing time together, helped by being in a space that was warm, comfortable and inviting. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone that will listen. My husband and I stayed here for the long weekend and we had such a fun and relaxing time. Tinne & Peter were very welcoming and the place was very clean and tidy. We also had a little furry friend visit us at our front porch one morning for pats! Such a beautiful place! We’d love to be back again one day.
