Healesville Hotel

The food was amazing. Restaurant will require bookings ahead of time but the casual dining area at the pub is first come first serve.

We had a pizza and the beef brisket special which were both amazing, and even the kids pasta was tasty.

Great service, even better atmosphere with the fireplace. Chilled and laid back with great food coupled with friendly staff. What's not to like!

Highly recommend their sticky date pudding. Fluffy and not overly sweet. The source highlights the whole dish. Best dessert for a cold afternoon.

The staff were fantastic & couldn't do enough to make the day special for all of us.
The young lady who we meet just prior to our booking was only too happy to help us & all done with a smile.

From giving us a private space to where we could set-up a small photo/candle display to serving us absolutely beautiful meals.

The meals were all fantastic, nicely presented & reasonable priced.
Definitely restaurant quality.
Can recommend the Barramundi.

Our little doggy also enjoyed the day, with plenty of doggy treats & water bowls on hand in the beer garden.

All who worked on the day should be congrated & huge thank you from Denise & Andrew.

PS: Oh the local apple cider is worth a mention.

Don't underestimate this place for dining. Impeccable service, fantastic food! Wish we had dined here earlier in our Healesville stay. Bonus that it is open early in the week unlike a lot of the other eateries around town.

Tonight we were lucky to be served by Perryn in the bistro. As someone who owns a business I know how hard it can be to hire for service. Perryn has qualities that you cannot teach. He served us with an enthusiasm that I have never seen before. He could rattle off the specials menu like he made it himself. He informed us every step of the way where our meal was at. He was extremely attentive and I even saw him skip to the POS. Whilst he is upbeat and bubbly it’s genuine and he made us feel so welcome. He is job proud which is so rare these days. He handled a busy dining room virtually on his own all whilst wearing a proud smile. Whatever he has, bottle it because it’s rare! I hope your employer knows how lucky they are.

Stopped for lunch at Healsville Hotel and was impressed by the hospitality and service of the staff in helping me find a suitable spot to sit comfortably with my walker. Food was delicious, well presented and served quickly.

Recommend visiting this hotel if you're planning on staying more than 1 day to explore this part of the Yalley Valley. Restaurant and bar are very popular, and bookings recommend to avoid disappointment. Fun atmosphere, great drinks menu. The food menu was basic but delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had a fantastic, noisy night at the Healesville Hotel and we love the Healesville Lager. Food was brilliant with the Parmas winning, and a close second for the Eggplant Parma.

Lovely beer garden with good wine and food! We had the chicken Parma’s which went down very well. Will be back for more casual pub lunches for sure.

Stopped for a drink, a good selection of craft beers and interesting wine list.
The drinks were so nice we stayed for dinner as they were able to provide gluten free options. The food was tasty and not expensive.
Service was friendly and efficient.

Popped in for a drink during Happy Hour. Super helpful staff and good conversation.

A friend and I cycled from the city, stayed the night here and cycled home the next morning. We were given secure storage for our bikes, the building is charming, rooms and beds are a generous size, location is great, as are the shared bathrooms.
We didn’t get to eat here because the pub section was closed on the Monday we stayed, but plenty of options around. Only negative was the bar fridge in my room creaked a fair bit and there was road noise outside, the white noise app on my phone sorted that out though.
I would gladly come back here.

Cosy Atmosphere, food was delicious, service was VIP , the manager ? Was so welcoming and made sure we were happy and well looked after , thank you ! Be nice if they had perhaps a pepper gravy or garlic butter with steaks rather than mustard , the place was so clean very impressive , had a wonderful time here as staff were Gracious and welcoming

Great service and beautiful venue. We had lunch and cocktails - great classics like whiskey sour and espresso martini. Highly recommend the reginette with ragu, steak and arancini

Dinner in the heated outdoor area with our dog. Partner’s steak was cooked perfectly. My plant based burger was one of the best I’ve had. Lovely service and a gorgeous building. Perfect pub meal.

We really love the Victorian style of this hotel, everything was really nicely decorated and in perfect condition giving a nice and authentic atmosphere. The bedding and mattress were amazing as the huge shower. We add a really good rest. Thanks!

This was one of the most gorgeous hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The building itself is beautiful and had such personality. The rooms were perfect size with probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The staff were helpful and provided everything were needed with a smile. The bathroom was incredible for a hotel above a pub, I was expecting stalls, not a two head shower in a giant bathroom. The little personal touches around the place were stunning as well. I wish I could visit more often and stay for longer.
