The Old Mechanics in the centre of Healesville

We stayed at The Old Mechanics in Healesville for the weekend, our studio apartment was very well presented and had all of the comforts to make it an enjoyable stay, located centrally, we were able to walk to all of the attractions in Healesville without any issues.
The owners Donia & Ozzie were very friendly and informative.
We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Old Mechanics room #3. Donia was a lovely host who was very helpful with recommendations. The location was perfect; walking distance to everywhere.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay in Healesville and stayed at what is possibly the #1 accommodation (adult only) in town. Great location, excellent, comfortable room and easy to access. Very helpful hosts who messaged us with all details from arriving to leaving. We will definitely be return visitors.

The best place to stay: really cute, stylish and comfy and just 50m from main shopping street with good restaurants and specialist bars. Hosts were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We had high expectations and even these were exceeded. Only stay here if you're coming to the Yarra Valley.

Lovely accommodation in delightful Healesville, in an excellent location just behind the main street in Healesville. You won't have to walk far to find a place to eat or drink. The hosts had excellent communication. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, even if they aren't flashy or modern.

Check in process was very smooth, and the owners were so friendly, kind, and easily contactable over WhatsApp!

Location was amazing with many wineries within 10-20 mins drive.

Rooms were clean, modern, very comfortable and well designed. Would book again if I’m in the area!

Beautifully appointed bedroom and a HUGE bathroom, in a side street so close to the Healesville action yet very quiet— and our stay was on a Saturday night so if it was noisy, we’d have heard it. Good communication, meticulously clean. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this accomodation. SO comfortable, so well decorated, everything you need. So close to the beautiful little town and near to good spots to eat. Parking. I would highly recommend this wonderful accommodation.

Room was beautifully decorated and spacious and had everything you need. Great location so close to main st and situated in a gorgeous old building. Comfy bed but pillows not great. Highly recommended

Spent a night in the King loft room. Really cosy and quiet, right in the middle of town so we could walk everywhere. If you are coming to Healesville, stay here. The rooms look just as nice as the photos, the host has been an absolute delight to deal with, even though the whole process has been texting.

The bed is really, really comfortable. There are a selection of pillows to cater for your preference to sleep on. The apartment is presented fantastically. Perfect size for two.

Plus, some things that weren't immediately apparent when i looked at the website. The bathroom is upstairs in the loft area, with a huge, huge shower. I thought it was downstairs from the photos. Downstairs is a toilet and basin. Perfect.

Also, there is a communal area just as you come in the front door with a gas fireplace and some comfy chairs. Didn't use it this time, but would if we came here with another couple.

A really nice place to stay in Healesville. Comfortable bed, plenty of space, hosts made sure we were happy and great location.

Stayed 2 nights and was a very pleasant experience. the Suite was better than expected in terms of size and lay out. check in was seamless (no human interaction - was done via clear whatsapp communication). its right in the middle of town and I would highly recommend this if you are in Healesville.
