Stringers Sorrento

Couldn’t fault this place. We stopped for lunch and everything from the service to the food and the bathrooms was excellent! I anticipate this will become a very busy spot over the summer holiday period.

We got the margarita pizza and I can quite recall the name of the other (something with honey and salami), chips, calamari and a vegan salad.

And the outdoor space is dog friendly and enclosed enough off the road so not too windy if the weather isn’t amazing.

We stopped to have a quick lunch. The menu is quite limited, mainly breakfast and pizza dishes. I never complained about having breakfast for lunch, so it was great. Very nice and quick service, standard prices and good coffee. I recommend ricotta pancake 🥞!

Very nice place to catch up for coffee and brunch with family and friends. Coffee is excellent. The staff is friendly. The front of cafe exudes chram and elegance. Then it opens up to a small courtyard with an olive tree, made me feel like I am in Tuscany. Dog friendly!

Delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Our breakfast came within 10 minutes, which was amazing. Coffee was average but overall experience was for 5 stars. We would recommend this place and we’ll definitely come back to try their pizzas and pasta.

I got there around 11:40am. The waitress already told us that we can no longer order breakfast and we could only order pizza....sad here... Most likely that the kitchen is shifting to prepare for lunch cater. We saw that lots of people ordered Egg's benedict (seems to be the fav dish here).

We eventually ordered two pizzas (pepperoni and prosciutto, size wise is around 12 inch...quite filing) and a bowl of fries. The dough was thin, it was gourmet. Taste were a bit strong to me, proving that their meat quality is good, but i just dont enjoy that strong taste... Too porky the prosciutto.

The place was nice and service was great. Good atmosphere here.

Had the mushroom pasta for sharing as well as a generous portion of chips. Lovely interior with summer vibes and plenty of seating. Not a huge variety if you're looking for pasta but still tasted great!

There has been many discussions about trying Stringers, and yesterday we mentioned it to D at Dundas & Faussett. She kindly reserved our table for us.

Here we are! We drove from St Kilda to Sorrento today! 30 July 2023.

We really like the place! The back yard has a portion of the Yellow and White. Simple, happy and welcoming.

There were two of us and we ordered the Pizza Mortadella - pistachio, stracciatella, Tuscan slaw (vegetarian and gluten free) and grilled artichokes (vegetarian and gluten free)... Delicious food and drinks were served. It was the best pizza we have had in a very long time (must try).

The staff are friendly and helpful. They ensure we are well taken care of - obviously well trained.

A beautiful meal alone made the long drive worthwhile.

There is no doubt that we will return!

Pleasant dining experience with super tasty pizza and pasta. Highly recommended. Luckily we booked for dinner especially during weekend, else a table may not be available..

The mushroom pizza was brilliant! If we weren't in a hurry we would have ordered another! Kudos to the chef who made this! Coffee was beautiful too so we bought coffee beans here

Impeccable food served in a timely manner. Lots of variety in starters and really fresh hot flat bread to accompany them. Very fresh seafood and pizzas!! Delicious sides and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs!! We were quickly seated in the alfresco courtyard which was really nice on a pleasant evening. Gelato was great end to the evening and we were able to taste test lots of flavours. Bravo to Stringers team!!

First time here. Proper table service. Sat out the front on the street, in the sun with warmth radiating off the sandstone exterior. Great staff, great atmosphere. My only complaint; coffee was a bit slow.

Exquisite little café. Food was absolutely beautiful. I had the chilli scrambled eggs and the better half had mushrooms on toast. Both were a good portion size but more than this, the taste was insane.
Good proper coffee as well. Throughly recommend a visit.

Brock the Manager was wonderfully attentive and made sure our experience for the first time here was superb. We were so impressed by this stylish and elegant restaurant . Especially the beautiful staff who made sure our every need was serviced with delight ! Love this trendy place .

Amazing service. We had a table of 10 request to change from indoor to outdoor last minute on Australia Day. It was Super busy but the staff accommodated us amazingly well and with minimal hassle and a smile. Food was great, gelatos out the back just as good. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly and helpful on such a busy day

Excellent coffee, food, atmosphere. Trying to pay was the hard part, not easy to get anyone’s attention. They must have a lot of folks walk out and not pay, as no one was monitoring our table. We had to ask 2 people if we could pay and it took about ~5 mins while waiting at the counter. (Yes, we paid! I’d have staff collect payment at tables).

Came here for lunch, beautiful relaxed atmosphere. Staff were ace, laid back but very attentive. Food was phenomenal. Certainly spoiled for choice.

Larger than it looks. Had a coffee and bought a croissant from the bakery next door (are it in the cafe). Really good service, nice settings and decent coffee.

It was a nice place to have a drink and relax before going shopping
