This restaurant in South Melbourne is like a home to us, with all their staff including the kitchen crew mingling with us like a family. They’d even ask us the reason why we’ve been too busy for few weeks but not visiting them. This truly means the world to us who support them & their dishes wholeheartedly. And yes, we love all their Malaysian dishes as always.

A delightful little Malaysian place tucked away in South Melbourne - actually found this completely by accident!

I had the assam laksa and a serve of the kerabu fried chicken and both did not disappoint - both were fresh and packed full of flavour.

Extra points for the iced tea tarik that didn't have a full litre of sugar in it!

Highly recommend this spot, will be back again to try the other dishes with mates!

Straightforward Malaysian favourites in a cosy setting. Beef rendang is among the best I've had, lovely smooth coconut flavour with tender beef pieces.

I came with no expectations and was blown away. Quaint little place with a nice relaxing feel. The staff were friendly, spoke great english and eager to serve. The food was amazing. I couldn't get over the serving size. I ordered Chicken and Corn Soup, and Chicken Singapore Noodles (without prawns). Both were full of flavour, soup super hot, and they didn't hold back on ingredients. My noodles photo probably doesn't look like it, but there was heaps of chicken (hiding underneath the pile of noodles). Noodle serving is enough to feed 2. I would definitely recommend this place. Great value for money, comfortable and yummy.

Bang for your buck! I loved the Mee Goreng and the Soya Milk Tea with Grass Jelly and Teh 3-Layer Tea/Teh C Peng Drink and the Fried Seafood Platter! Watch the full video review on my Youtube about Malaysian Food! (Not a fan of the Baba Sauce that comes with the platter but that has to do with personal taste preferences rather than the quality of the sauce which itself was prepared amazingly - First time trying the sauce keep in mind!) This place has an extensive list of Malaysian dishes that I would love to come back to next time I'm in Melbourne! Highly recommend!

I ordered the Thursday lunch special Hainan Chicken Rice. Oh my goodness, this is the BEST chicken rice I’ve ever had. Such generous amount of chicken, it is soo tender and juicy. The little sambal it comes with is brilliant. Wish I had tried it sooner!!

Seen it here for years, finally decided to give it a crack.. very disappointed with myself. It was as good as I hoped.. $20 with drink and sooooo authentic.

Traditional Malaysian casual dining with one of the better sambals (decently hot enough, possibly too hot for the average person's tolerance) on their Nasi Lemak I've tasted in Melbourne. The curry puffs are nice, along with the teh tarek.

The highlight for me was Bak Kut Teh which was very authentic without being too herbal for the average palette. Will be back to explore the rest of the menu

I ve come this place for dining couple times. The cute waitress ladies always remember my personal preference and never forget. Every time I came I always order their Hainan Chicken. They know me I love sambal chilli sauce because I always ask them for it.

One of the best laksa in Melbourne!
Highly recommend!
Super hot soup with fresh ingredients.

Salt and pepper tofu is also a must try.

The food here is great. I've found it recently and keep coming back and trying different things. Every dish has been great, indoors the restaurant has a nice wooden decor as well. Great for takeaway as well and good prices.

Best laksa I’ve had in Melbourne! I had the chicken breast laksa. It was silky smooth and simply delicious! Will drive back for another.

Yummy food and generous servings. Staff is very friendly. Their satay sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste but that might be a personal preference.

Very good roti and curry at a reasonable price of AUD 13.90. Perhaps not the biggest portion so might need to eat something else if you're really hungry.

Been to Penang road since 2017, the food is always good, satisfying. The portion is reasonable and price is affordable!

We googled where to get Melbourne's best laksa and ended up here. A small place of the way but packed totally full of customers. Our seafood laksas were amazing. Full of seafood and noodles and a delicious soupy broth. We were visiting from interstate so probably won't be back for a while but hope to one day. Happy and cheerful customer service too.

Loves it all. Don’t mind the sweet satay sauce.
The roti canai with curry sauce was sensational.

Food tastes amazingly authentic. Believe me I'm a Singaporean and their Curry Laksa is super legit.

Great place for lunch break, good food quick service and good sized servings. Specials are great value for price and usually come with a complimentary drink.

Sensational. Just ordered about 10 different takeaway dishes for the family and they were all great. All meat and fish was fresh and portions were excellent. Heavy on the protein unlike many other asian restaurants. Delicious variety of flavours. Will definitely be back!
