Coles South Melbourne

Nice location. Clean, modern, and wide assortment of products.

Being within The Clarendon Centre in central South Melbourne, this Coles store is perfectly located for us and we have shopped at here many times and have always had a good shopping experience. The store is well organized and the shelves and fridges are usually well stocked. We have also always found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. The free 1.5 hours underground car parking on busy Clarendon Street is also a real bonus.

The graffiti on the wall is so pretty, things get a bit more expensive since it changes to local version but still, good deal can be found and the staff are helpful

This Coles has recently had a complete refurbishment. Great music, bright lighting and lots of interesting specialty items as well as all the usual general items. New, clean and big. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of specials across all areas. It was a pleasure shopping here today. Definitely recommended.

Bro, this place hit it's glow up. It's fancy as in here, there's fresh pasta bars, a bakery section it's pretty insane. Highly recommend it, their selection of general groceries has increased also.

Coles Local is one of the best supermarkets in Melbourne, clean and plenty of choice.

All your household needs u can buy here at good prices as compared to other stores. Variety and quality stuff available .. Good deals are also there. Not overly crowded and no long queues at the check out counter. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available at very competitive prices.

Great looking store and very friendly staff

Good central location and ample free underground parking (quickly expensive after free period). Courteous staff, shelves are almost always fully stocked. Only downside is I cannot get phone reception in over 70% of the store

Had Akram go above and beyond with his customer service to find flowers my wife wanted to buy for our mothers... to the point that he went into storage and brand a box of fresh flowers for us to choose from.... must be noted by the great service he has provided as Staff like that is very hard to come by to choose to take the extra step when you he could of said we are out of stock! Very nice man

In a time where tensions are high, the staff remain calm, kind and supportive to the community. Both lockdowns I have come in on a bad day and the staff have asked about my day and made that little bit of needed difference that goes a long way. Rhiannon was the person behind the counter and each time I was served she was super kind and positive, give that lady a bonus!. Thanks for taking care of the colourful community of South Melbourne ♥

Good variety of fruits and vegetables. Friendly staff. Convenient location as underground free parking for 2 hours. Many coffee shops and restaurants close by which makes Saturday grocery outing a relaxing event.

Best coles ever. Recent renovation has made it yummy!

As a tourist in Melbourne who has forgotten those little items like plasters (band aids) etc. and you find yourself in this area this is your heaven! Some great coffee from a trader outside the main shop. As for this Coles store, it is well stocked, clean and staff very friendly.

Security guard in Coles was so friendly. My partner and I went in and attempted groceries after a big night drinking hahaha oops
He was hilarious and helped us so much.
Most people would have kicked us out but he made sure we were good and had everything we needed and got home safe!!

Quick and easy

This is a smaller sized Coles but it definitely packs a lot in! Great for a basic shop, but most locals use this in conjuction with the South Melbourne Market for all their grocery needs.
