Bustling cafe and glad we chose to have breakfast here. Friendly and efficient service.
The Wild Mushroom dish was tasty (although I wished the croquettes were a little bigger, it was delish),
The poached egg was cooked perfectly and came with buttered toast (which is rare when ordering Eggs Your Way).
The pancakes was nice and fluffy

Will come back again next time I'm in Sorrento.

Excellent food and service. We were there for Australia Day breakfast, it was really busy yet service was quick and the food came out in half the time I was expecting. We had the Boss's breakfast, Sweet and salty pancakes and the corn fritters. All were delicious. There are vegan and modified diet options on the menu and also a kids menu. There are plenty of tables inside and a selection outside on the street. The front half of the cafe is wheelchair friendly yet the toilets are not. Alcohol licensed. Definatly worth the visit for a meal. This is the old Buckley's Chance cafe for if you know the area.

A friend recommended Boss’s Daughter when we visited Mornington for a pancake treat as this is her family’s favourite place.
The cafe has a warm ambiance, comfortable sitting area for family with little kids and the staffs are friendly. We were on Sunday morning and the cafe were packed, we waited for 10-15mins to get a table for 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. It was a smooth waiting experience.
The pancakes were excellent even just a simple one, which was the highlight of this cafe. But what surprised me more was the other dishes. I had the corn fritters with full of chopped fresh avocado and delicious poached eggs that was cooked just at the perfect texture (You can see it in this photo).
The price is really reasonable for the fresh local produced products and if you are after a quality breakfast that covers everyone preference, the Boss’s Daughter is just the right cafe.

I tried their homemade 'doughnut' topped with cinnamon, twas tasty, not too sweet or oily but crispy on the outside, soft on the inside

They provide all day breakfast and all day lunch.
Go early as the queue for the coffee peaks after 1030.

They have a seperate menu for vegans, so just ask if you need it.
I had the sautéed wild mushroom with artichoke purée and sourdough toast, and a cold pressed apple juice.
Coffee is by Commonfolk, and the fit out is really hipster, lots of plants!

Amazing breakfast and great friendly staff. Cosy comfortable seating, great vibe. Fresh ingredients and food for all types of eaters and needs. Coffee was to die for....

📱 Our most recent visit here was during the COVID-19 restrictions - they have developed an online order and payment system all from your phone. Simply scan the QR code on your table to order through their menu on your phone. Super easy, hygienic and innovative.

🛎 Food arrived quite quickly.
🍽 The lamb souvlaki looked so appealing all 5 of us ordered it. Everyone was impressed - very high quality ingredients - well made.
🤩 Overall, an awesome experience - one of my favourite brunch spots in Sorrento!

Amazing service... big smiles and welcoming attitude. Food was creative and yummy. We went for breakfast/brunch. We always try to order menu items that sound different. Had the Sweet Potato Smash & the Sorrento Brunch Bowl. Both were fabulous!!!! Thank you 🙂

Had a day trip to Sorrento with our family of 8. Sat on an outside table and received a friendly greeting from staff. Made our orders using an efficient qr system on our phones.
Meals came out quickly and were generous, delicious and nicely presented.

Had the delicious grain salad and added the smoked salmon and avocado. It was a very generous serving and very tasty. We ordered with the app at the table and it came nice and promptly. Well done on the Covid safe way of ordering. It reduced the contact and we could order and pay individually.
One of my favourite Sorrento eateries.
