Rising above the Mornington Peninsula, Arthurs Seat State Park is a prominent feature in the landscape of Port Philip Bay. The 314-metre summit provides spectacular views which, on a clear day, can stretch as far as the Melbourne city skyline, the You Yangs and Mount Macedon. For a bird's-eye view, climb aboard the all-weather Arthurs Seat Eagle, a state-of-the-art gondola which soars high above the trees.

You have cable car facilities which you will obtain a lovely view of the surrounding.

It was a wonderful experience, beautiful drive from base station to the lookout, this place is 89 km from Melbourne CBD in Mornington Peninsula, we did the cable car as well as in our car to the lookout, plenty of parking available at the peak and beautiful walks and trails to offer to its visitors.

Although it was a hot day we enjoyed the circuit around Arthur's Seat. Fantastic views and brilliant scenery. Very busy though

bushwalking tracks with multiple lookouts, nice gardens, cafe and tourist shop, around $85 for a family of 4 return cable car, parking at top and bottom, overall a nice place.

What awesome view's going up to the top of Arthur's Seat. The wind had picked up on our descent, so our gondola was automatically slowed as our car was swinging. In the distance, we could see the silhouette of Melbourne city. Just fantastic ❤

This place was fantastic. The views incredible. Get there early. The staff are so friendly.

A bit expensive but the view is worth every penny. Each chair holds about 6 adults. Cafe at top and souvenirs at bottom

Awesome views of the bay. You get the clearest lookout from about 3/4 up the mountain lookout parking spot.

The views of the Mornington Peninsula are breathtaking, if you haven't been this far up the Peninsula before then this is the perfect excuse to go!

A very well organized system, from all staff members. Look out is spectacular. All family members will remember this trip.
I would park the car right up the top lookout. A return ticket is best.

Best place for travelling with family. Beautiful view from here. You can see ocean in front of you from this point. Got public toilets and got place for exercise too. Do walking around and enjoy beauty here. Got that electric running things, i enjoyed travelling it. Go with friends and family.

Loved visiting Arthur's Seat and exploring the area after many years. Riding the new Eagle was great. The only downer for us, was we were planning on enjoying a cuppa at the bottom before returning to the top. No cafe there but congrats to all the staff who we spoke to, because they were all awesome. Special mention to Ian at the bottom, cos he really added some fun and laughs making our ride thoroughly enjoyable.

I recommend you to go in nice bright weather, ITS REALLY IMPORTANT!!! - especially if you want a good view thats totally worth taking a shot at.
I went on a bad day but it's still beautiful, dont make the same mistake as me.

The views didn't disappoint.
Will definitely go on the seat eagle when the weather is nicer to enjoy the stunning views.

Beautiful views and two excellent gift shops each with different and unique items. I can get incredibly busy on weekends and great weather days so bear that in mind. We went on a Thursday morning during summer holidays and it was fine.
