My experience at Alba Thermal Springs in Fingal, Melbourne was truly unforgettable. My husband and I used a voucher for $190 per person and it was worth every penny. We visited on a Friday night and the ambiance was nothing short of magical. The variety of pools, sauna, steam room, and icy pool provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The facilities were impeccably clean, with excellent showers, air dryers, and even a swimwear dryer available for convenience. Upon arrival, we were provided with towels and all the resources we needed for a comfortable stay.

The highlight of our visit was the fantastic restaurant on-site. The scallops, ocean trout, and steak we ordered were absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend starting with a relaxing spa session before indulging in a delightful dinner - staff was great too.

Overall, our experience at Alba Thermal Springs was beyond expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. If you're looking for a luxurious and rejuvenating getaway, this is the place to be. Can't wait to come back!

Always such a zen pleasant experience, so rejuvenating. Feels almost dystopian futuristic cult vibes inside with everyone in beautiful white robes.
Their brunch package with mimosa was divine 🍾
There’s free EV charger parking too!

The most excellent spa. I had an amazing time when I went back in November last year.

Access to the thermal springs was already an incredible experience on top of the spa treatment we had. I just love that we were able to take our time with the springs and that it never appeared to be that crowded, so quite secluded access and time spent in each of the springs we visited.

I cannot wait to go back.

Alba is really nice and relaxing! I’m sure they had a lot of visitors on Mothers Day Saturday but it does not feel crowded at all. The amount of space in there makes the experience very pleasant. There are many small pools which is a good idea because you don’t have a crowd of people together. I just wish they had a couple more “wave” pools. You can stay all day if you like, but you need at least 2 hours to have that relaxing feel. The food at Thyme is very well made. Sometimes you go to a place where they charge a lot for average food, but not here. The price may be high, but the quality of the dishes are very good! We had the Beef Bavette ($48) which was medium rare, very tender, well seasoned and comes with beautiful potatoes. Also had the Chicken Schnitzel ($45) which was fried beautifully. Their potato frites was crunchy with a green chilli mayo dip - delicious! The pricing is fine dining level, but you actually do get fine dining food quality. The car park is spacious with EV charging, but when we were there, the EV chargers are all taken, but it’s ok, we didn’t need it. I would rate this a “must come back”.

Alba Spring was a truly beautiful place. It’s a highly recommended place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from the city. The place is tranquil as we aren’t allowed to bring our phones. They have several hot spring pools with different sizes and we can enjoy all of them. The changing room has complete amenities and very clean. They also have plenty parking area.

Alba hot springs was an amazing experience as part of our melbourne trip. We had the best date night here. It’s a bit far and we were tired driving there to get there and back to CBD, but definitely worth the trip. The place is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Cleanliness is one of the most important thing for a place like this.

The price was good given that we went on a weekday night time. I actually really enjoyed the fact that we went sunset/night time as it was more romantic and more private of an experience compared to day.

Staff were lovely, except one lady which was rude when we got lost and ended up at the elevator. She shouted at us and we were bit unpleasant about that experience when she could’ve helped us.

Other than that a great experience. My body felt more relaxed after as well. The sauna was also good!

Divine! Visited for the first time and took up the early riser package. The establishment is chic and modern, the many springs set out in a spacious grounds are invigorating…
…and the restaurant staff are so welcoming. You must come and experience Alba soon.

The thermal springs has very new and clean facilities. The reception was filled with a lovely aromatic scent and I was welcomed by a team of fabulous staff.
It has so many pools, so it is possible to find a 'private pool' all for yourself on a weekday. The bath robe was so fluffy. The restaurant serves amazing food and has very quick service too.
I had a lovely and relaxing time there.

A lovely experience and a beautiful way to enjoy a day. Lots of mineral spas at various temperatures. Not all the spas are easy to enter though, some don't have steps which was very disappointing. Check online for 'Specials', eg 2 for 1. Thyme restaurant is well worth a visit. Food is expensive but drinks are affordable.

Such a beautiful experience at Alba!! A gorgeous place that is so much nicer and cleaner than the other hot springs in the area. I felt the pools were a lot cleaner and while Alba was busy (being a public holiday) I still found it easy to get a spot in the sauna, pools and restaraunt. Highly recommend lunch in the restaraunt too - my poke bowl was so fresh and tasty. It’s not cheap but absolutely worth it. I will also say that the ‘no phone’ policy is there for a reason - take the opportunity to switch off and please don’t bring your phones into the pools!

I recently spent a Monday with my friend at Alba day spa. All of the spa pools are ultra nice. The dry sauna has a great outlook and the plunge pools and cold long pool were great after the sauna. We also enjoyed lunch and sitting outside under an umbrella in the fluffy robes enjoying the scenery and it was not too crowded. The lovely staff also gave us an Alba candle to take away! Overall it was a really relaxing and enjoyable experience. We’ll be back. Thank you 🙏🏼

If you’ve been to hot springs or thermal baths before and think you’ve seen it all, Alba will challenge that notion on all levels.

From the moment you enter the architect’s dream of a compound you immediately notice the level of meticulous detail that’s gone it to every element of its design. From choice of material to layout and tranquil space to the slow and meaningful way doors open and close…it slows you down too, allowing you to indulge and relax.

Staff are attentive, helpful and walk you through how to make the most of the experience.

Then to the locker rooms which might be the most beautiful I’ve seen. A central garden of foliage with a sky light consumes your view as you get your robe on before being let out in to the open air to find your first of many unique baths.

There are so many to choose from - some duplicated so there’s always an option and variety if you’re hoping to have more privacy. Personal favourite was The Hide which might be the largest hot pool inside a little cove with a stunning combination of light and shadow formed by the concrete and sky light with a grassy knoll to keep your eyes occupied if needed.

I can’t emphasise enough, the morning hours are magical. Seems like a cool day? Perfect. The morning hours are magical - head over between 7-830 and enjoy peace and quiet and even some wildlife if you’re lucky (I was watching birds and a rabbit having a little rummage around while in a bath). I came alone and had a good 2+ hours of time without anyone else invading a bath I was in.

I took a break and sat out by the restaurant while the sun broke through. The food was equally as delightful - I enjoyed the trout breakfast bagel which was perfection.

Then it was back out for more relaxation - did I mention this was the best and most relaxing day I’ve had in a long time? Many more people and couples arrived so it got a little more noisy as…people do talk, can’t blame them but it wasn’t too bad and I still managed to find my own space before jumping back and forth to the sauna and cold plunge for a final few times before leaving.

During this period it actually rained quite hard which a different kind of experience which I personally loved - like being in the sea while it’s raining. No complaints.

Asking yourself if it’s worth the price? The answer is yes. Questioning if it’s worth taking a morning out of your trip or needing to drive? Just do it.

Highly recommend you book the private terrace for a romantic getaway!!

Excellent! Very good restaurant staff service, lovely spars and not all are chlorinated but are natural which is nice, the customers were okay and minded their own businesses mostly which is nice. Nice not to have obnoxious people staring at us and been silly, or having a million kids running around unsupervised. People were generally respectful and an overall good atmosphere. I like the way it is multicultural and diverse. Food and wine were nice too.

My husband and I got a gift card ($342 for both of us) for the hot spring and 2-course meal. It was the perfect gift card – it’s not something we would have normally done but enjoyed it very much now that we have experienced it.

We booked for a 2pm entry, thinking we will leave at 5pm. But we ended up staying until their closing time of 9pm. It was very nice during the sunset, but spectacular when the milky way appeared. The whole site has interesting architectural design and most of the pools are relatively small, given it an intermate feel. It’s particularly romantic after dark when most of visitors are gone and you have the pools to yourselves under the beautiful sky.

Food at the restaurant was excellent. Every dish was very nice, but the corn/mushroom dish was particularly tasty.

The facility was super modern and quite luxurious.

Overall, an excellent experience if you want to give yourself a special treat.

Alba Thermal Springs was such a delightful and peaceful experience. As you step into the entrance foyer, the luxurious architecture screams 'time to get pampered'.

Every little detail is well thought out. The wrist bands that doubles as locker keys and access card, sunscreen kept at various points all across the place, drinking water fountains, wash rooms and showers placed in such a way that you're never too far from one when you need.

The service levels were superb and is a key differentiator for Alba. From the reception staff patiently explaining the things to try out and experience to the friendly staff at the spa and restaurant, we had a whole day of receiving care and attention. One exception was some of the staff at the restaurant who were curt with us.

Get there early when the place opens to avoid crowds in the hot Springs. There are around 20 different ones to try out. Private bath experience at the terrace offers better views and a lot more privacy with a glass of champagne served to the bath on order.

Massages were relaxing and the staff is well trained on the level of pressure and the experience you are looking for. The facial was not worth the cost though.

Food at the restaurant was hit and miss. While the entrees packed flavour and gave a sensory experience with textures, the beef mains had an overpowering sauce. Dessert was good.

Great place to relax and unwind. Pools were very clean and the architecture was very modern. Went here on a Monday so the place wasn't that busy. Perfect place to go solo, as a couple, or in a small group. We took our time trying each pool section and ended up staying around 3.5hrs.

My husband and I attended Alba Thermal Springs today. On arrival the staff were very polite and courteous and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the thermal springs and we will definitely be going back. We had an absolutely lovely lunch at Thyme Restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend Alba Thermal Springs for a relaxing and rejuvenating day out.
