Thanks Dave for a great experience! Super easy process to rent and return. Dave is full of knowledge on all the trails in the area and how to make the most of them. Great bikes. Will definitely come back when I'm next in town!

Rented a very good mountainbike with my boyfriend to climb several trails in the Mountain Bike Park. Proper mountainbikes (lot of choice) with a helmet. When seemed closed just give them a call! The guy is very nice, has a good service and is clear in giving Information. Go climb your mountain! 😃 (we saw a rock wallaby too in the mountains ☺)

Hired an Orbea full suspension for half a day, Trent was laid back and the bikes were in good working order. Great location for riding across to the MTB park

Travelling from Normanton arriving Atherton late on a Saturday, short overnight stop heading to The Cape and urgently needed bike parts. Tried Northern Bikes who were simply not interested in helping, nor would they accept payment by phone or leave parts at a location for us to collect after hours. Spoke to Trent at Atherton Bike Hire who went out of his way to source the parts for us and wouldn't accept payment until we arrived to collect. What brilliant service. While we didn't hire bikes, his friendly helpful attitude was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Great little bike hire place just 2kms from the Atherton Forest Mtb Park. Trent and his wife were really helpful. Rented a hardtail and kids bikes on the 1st day to explore the greens with the kids. Then treated ourselves to an e MTB (Specialized Turbo Levo) to explore the wider trail network. Some epic (and fairly full on at times) single track out there, and the network is pretty big but the e bike made it possible to cover heaps more ground than otherwise. It also made the otherwise lung busting climbs and technical rocky switchbacks heaps of fun. Plenty of options for family rides and all day epic adventures. Had a great time 😁

Awesome friendly service by Atherton Bike Hire. We had a great 24hrs on two Orbeca dual suspension mountain bikes. The location is fantastic being essentially at the base of the mountain bike park. With no unreasonable deposits and Dave’s local knowledge made for an excellent day exploring Atherton from a new angle.

Myself and my 11 yr old son hired two bikes for the half day. Dave was outstanding with his knowledge, service and professionalism with hiring the bikes. I would highly recommend using Dave, the tracks are great and offer a very back to nature experience. Thanks again Dave and team

Don't let the "hidden" location (in garage behind the furniture store) fool you. Dave is awesome and the full suspension Orbea 29er bikes were much better than expected for a small shop hire/rental. Dave was very friendly and gave excellent advice (and a map) of the local trails. Riding the local downhill trails was the highlight of my trip last week!

If you're looking to hire a bike to hit the trails, highly recommend Atherton Bike Hire. Dave was absolutely fantastic. Super friendly and helpful, set us up on some fantastic really well maintained duallys. Also ran us through the trails, super and what to expect. Hired 2 bikes for 2 days and very happy. The business is operated through BedrUs in Atherton and owner Dave is very knowledgeable with local trails ("beds are my business - mountain biking is my passion" - quote from Dave)
I had a mechanical problem on trail and called Dave - he arrived via firetrack with a new Orbea for me !! - can't beat that for service.
He also dropped bikes off to us and picked them up from NRMA Big4 Caravan park (which separately is well set up with bike wash, stand and tools).
He is currently upgrading his bikes to Orbea.
No hesitation in recommending

Bring yr own bikes..... Impossible to find at first. No signage and didnt answer number. Bike shop in town not helpful and had no idea either.... after leaving a review the owner contacted us, he was in cairns for the day so if want to hire you must pre-book online so he can plan ahead. Looks like an ideal place for a bike to rail trail, will add to bucket list next visit.... also big4 accomodation across the road were very helpful.
