Had a Lovely lunch before driving on to our accommodation for the night. Took my mum here for the first time, she absolutely loved it! She was in awe of the whole location, the flowers, the products for sale, the lake and how beautiful it was.
Lunch was perfect! Food came our quick! Tasty, fresh looking, value for money and very enjoyable 😉
Thank you

A beautiful tea house overlooking the crater lake. Highly recommended to visit and try their tea and scones. A solid eggs bennie at a very generous offering.

Most impressive - a perfect spot for lunch, the kofta balls were superb, washed down with a cold beer. After lunch we had time to circuit the lake and have a refreshing swim.

Great outdoor dining with the lake Barrine view.
Scones with Davidson plum jam and whipped cream with earl Grey tea are all the hype. We also enjoyed the bruschetta and eggs, bacon with hollandaise sauce.
We were quick to dig in so no photos to show. 😔
Great hidden gem!

This a perfect spot to stop for brunch or morning tea. We had the show stopping scones with some coffee. The view is fantastic. This is a must stop. Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning spot on the lake, he greenery invited many butterflies and the atmosphere was gorgeous, right on the lake. They even have a piano which adds so much to the vibe.

Highly recommend the scones with coffee, whenever we head up to the lakes it is a must for us to stop over and have our scones and coffee!!

A nice place to grab a bite (or a meal) and a warm beverage when driving past. Set on a serene lake shore, it is calm and inviting. Great options available for vegans and vegetarians. Dishes may seem pricey, however, the portion sizes are well worth it.

Been here a few times but this is the first time for breakfast. The breakfast was really good and just enough. They were understaffed, but everywhere is these day, but it was good to sit on the deck and relax whilst waiting. We will definitely be back (and hopefully I’ll be able to do the boat trip next time too!)

Beautiful teahouse overlooking the Lake here. All the food is excellent, with everything like jam being prepared in-house. The scones are fantastic! Would highly recommend going here if you are up in the Atherton Tablelands.

I decided to take a my little 3 year old son on a lake Barrine cruise on the weekend. We kept talking the whole way about going on the boat, looking at the fish and the ducks. Little fella was really excited. When we arrived, we were advised by the owner or the manager (I didn't ask, I assume) that he is not running the cruises today. He admitted that there had not been many people going on cruises lately. I said to the owner that we came to teahouse just for the cruise but that I understand. I told my son that the boat was broken. We proceeded to order some tea, hot chocolate and scones. To my big surprise the gentleman on the other side of the counter advised that it was on the house. I thanked him and said he didn't have to do that. He said that he did not want us to have a bad experience and he said he wanted us to come back. He made our day! Scones were delicious and the drinks too. Of course we are coming back! What a wonderful customer service - frendly and thoughtful. I have been there many times and I would recommend everyone to visit. Food is excellent, views to the lake are even better. Great walk around the lake, good swimming too.

Exceptional food. Our party had an avocado smash and the Devonshire Tea. The scones are always fabulous. School holiday special... buy breakfast or lunch & get the lake cruise for $10!

Beautiful little place overlooking a lake.
Devonshire teas and lunches as far as the eye can see as well.
Frittata (Pumpkin and Spinach) was filling.
Traditional Scotch Egg was yummy (even though egg was a little over done).
Highly recommend the local tea.
Local handmade peanut butter is a winner also. Light and crunchy all in one.
Enjoy, I did.

Scones were probably the best I have had, the jam is delicious and plenty of it. And I can't believe I am saying this but heaps of cream. The view is spectacular and the staff are friendly and accommodating. 1 small thing, maybe don't serve scones on the napkin, they are so packed full of jam and cream the napkin ends up useless lol
