We bought some chocolate and cheese to take and visited the animals on the way out, perfect day

I have been coming to this family owned and run dairy farm for over 15 years. I would say they produce some of the best cheese and chocolate in Far North Queensland. If you're coming to the Atherton tablelands and love cheese then this is the place to stop in at. My favorite is the chilly cheese but also highly recommended the macadamia, onion and chive and cracked pepper.

I ordered the small cheese platter to share between three people. Was delicious and had so many differing cheeses so you could find out which ones you loved! The staff were so nice, and they even gave me a free Nutella truffle to try (which was creamy and delicious!) would definitely recommend to anyone who loves or likes cheese! The place was super clean and had beautiful views of the mountains

Ordered a selection of chocolates and a small cheese platter to try. Both were delicious! The animal nursery is small, but something there to entertain kids with.

A perfect stop for lunch or morning tea. However the highlight is the cheese and the CHOCOLATE! A must stop and try one of every handmade gourmet chocolates if you can! Fantasy selection of cheeses and some desserts. We came for the cheese and chocolates and didn’t disappoint. There is a small animal nursery at the back a few calves and some cackling turkeys hanging around. Highly recommend.

We wanted to spend time in the mountains and lakes and read about this place and it’s cheese so went and checked it out. The cheese was amazing, you can see the “small” cheese board in the pictures which was a lot of cheese for three people. My favourite was the macadamia flavour which I bought two lots of after tasting! The chocolates were delicious too. It only took an hour and 15 or less to get here from north cairns city.

Definitely an amazing spot to take the family or that special someone for brunch or lunch tasting the chocolates and cheese made on site and have a look at the cute adorable animals in the petting zoo as well as the ones just strolling the ground. The team at gallos are an amazing bunch of people and its a privilege knowing them and to have tasted the food they have to offer

Great place to have lunch. Food was good. Had the egg bacon burger it was really nice and fresh. The cheese platter is a must for everyone. And don’t get me started on the chocolate. A few things for the kids to do. Pat the calfs and watch the cows being milked. Really a nice relaxed place for a Saturday lunch.

You must visit this place. Excellent cheeses and chocolates made on site. Linda helped us send some of their product back to Tasmania and it was very well received. The staff are polite and courteous even when very busy. We had the $25 cheese platter and it was a filling lunch for us two. book a table (as it can get busy) and indulge.

A great little cafe. Was great to view the cheese and chocolate making facilities. The coffee was fantastic and the meals were great (the quiche was a little dry though). We couldn't help but purchase chocolate and cheese and the service was friendly and helpful the whole time we were there.

Visited close to closing time to sample the cheese and chocolate. Despite being busy we had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, effective and helpful, putting together a lovely, generous tasting platter with cheeses of our choosing. We had with coffee and finished with chocolates! We arrived to late to see the cheese and chocolate making in operation but that added to the experience. Plenty of space to sit with views, and facilities for children. We took away some cheese which we enjoyed eating over the following weeks.

Found this place by word of mouth from a stranger and I'm glad I did! There's not much advertising so this is really a hidden gem. Ice creams, cheese, chocolates and a lovely affordable cafe all on one place.
The staff give the best service and are very friendly. Granted they let me taste all the cheeses they had go offer!

It was busy but the cheese platter was very tasty. The good thing was the little signs with the different cheeses, so we could choose the right one to take home.

Chocolate YUMMY, cheese platter with a glass of red while you sit overlooking the most beautiful lush rolling pastures ! 3pm cows are milked, kids can interact with the calves, turkeys, etc great afternoon highly recommend!

As you tour the waterfall circuit, pop by here to grab lunch or snag some cheese and chocolate for the road. The cracked pepper is a delicious, spicy cheese for the savory lovers.
