Gardners Falls

A short walk from the car park past several cascades takes you to Gardner's Falls. While not a long drop, the narrow chute in Obi Creek gives the Falls an impressive appearance.

Beware - there's not a lot of parking at the Falls car park, and it was nearly full on a weekday, so be prepared to park and walk

Really nice to swim in during the summer! I like the one closest to the parking spot (the one without the swing rope) as it isn't crowded. The rocks are covered by moss, so it's slippery and you have to be careful. The only downside is the bogs, god they smell bad.

Visited yesterday as it's raining as well. Beautiful water fall and nature. Not too busy so we enjoyed a lot. Easy parking. Definitely go aging in morning time.

Well worth the look 👀 after some rain fails. Enjoyed the site seeing. It’s very busy so parking 🅿 is a premium.

Beautiful place, was a lot of people, but big enough so you're not on top of each other. We went after a bit of rain, would be interesting to see after a dry period

What a spot, honestly. The waterfall is not too from where you can park, and there's a pretty well paved path towards the fall. Thus, it's easily accessible for elderly and the disabled. It's a nice spot to swim, with some ropeswings for the daring. The scenery is as beautiful as the fall. Unfortunately, it's mostly rocks, so you can't really sit that comfortably with just a towel or something alike. All in all, a nice spot.

We visited around 9am, still quiet but by the time we left 9.20 the carpark was starting to fill up.
Perfect spot for a swim and bbq, would more than likely need to fight for a park however

What a spectacular part of the world to visit.
Really close to the best town in sunny coast (Malaney, ie Ma Rain Y) and lots of parking. Only a small walk to the falls. The path is rocky so wear shoes. The rock pool is nice but be careful as it can be dangerous, especially if you use the rope swing....

Visited in early Jan, and the only downside was limited parking.

Well worth the visit the falls are a great experience with the opportunity for a swim. There is limited car parking but stick to the designated areas as the do issue tickets for parking elsewhere.
It's an easy walk to the falls with a weather beaten concrete path that finishes at the falls.
There are plenty of swimming holes so it's a popular place on a sunny day.
Limited facilities but there is a toilet block at the carpark.

We love the falls. My kids 8 and 10 years old had a wonderful day.

Perfect for families with small kids. Easy to get to, carparking, toilet (long drop!), and rough-paved walkway to the waterfalls. It is a great place to explore and swim.

My favourite place to come on a hot day. After climbing at glass house mountains this place is a gorgeous swimming hole to cool down. There are multiple rope swings and rocks to dive from. It’s always got water, even in a dry spell. Note that there are no change rooms or mobile phone reception once you get down to the falls.

Maleny itself is wonderful for some lunch options as well.

If you're planning to visit Gardner's falls or anywhere really then please be considerate of those around you, keep amenities clean and avoid littering so as to protect this beautiful scenic environment.

I've struggled to find the perfect place to go swimming in SEQ but this takes the cake. The falls itself is lacklustre but the pools seem deep enough to swim comfortably and dive-bomb also. Bit too cold for swimming at the moment but would be perfect for summer.

The area itself is beautiful with a lot of wildlife.

Amenities include carpark, toilets (composting toilets/pit toilets) and picnic tables.

Camping is prohibited here.

Absolutely stunning bit of nature, beautiful swimming spaces and falls, beautiful backdrop of trees. Just stunning.

Had a wonderful walk with an old friend. Very beautiful area. Couldn't stay too long as my friend was not in the best of health but this area is majic! Will visit again soon.
