Russell is a top bloke. I am a single mum, so finding a good mechanic can be challenging. Russell is great at explaining what is happening with your car, why he is doing something and answering any questions that you might have. My car was quite a hassle and a puzzle for not only Russell, but in the end, 3 or so other professionals as well. Together they worked out there were 3 problems with my car. Not only ones the computer picked up, but one that it couldn't identify. Both in the fuel system and electrical system. It took a while, but Russell didn't give up. He could of just said he didn't know what it was and told me to take it to Mazda, which would of cost me an arm and a leg more, because they would of gone through everything Russell already had and then more to find the problem. Or sent me on my way saying it's fine, the engine light will just stay on. But he didn't, he had to find the problem. He was so patient and went out of his way, above and beyond, to do his best to help me. And didn't want to let my car leave the workshop until all the problems were fixed (legitimate problems). Thank you Russell for your patience, willingness not to give up on a challenge, and keeping me updated every step of the way. Best mechanic I have ever had to deal with. You're a champ :)

My friend recommended I take my car to Russell and now 10/10 would recommend to every one I know! Russell provides excellent service at great prices. Also very helpful in explaining things to me so I could understand what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it, without being condescending. I won’t be going anywhere else!

Very helpful, warm and welcoming people who took the time and effort to kindly fix our car on a very short time frame. They were informative, knowledgeable, accomodating and very reasonably priced. They made our holiday on the Gold Coast less stressful and made it possible for us to drive back home safely.

We used Russell at A & R years ago always happy with his service but after buying a new car I just went through their service department more for convenience than anything else. After this Covid 19 i thought it more important to support small business so i dropped in to arrange a service. Russell is such a nice person to chat to and has a real passion for his trade and doing the best he can, so much more than a dealership can offer. I missed having things explained to me about what the car needs and really look forward to his service in the future. Highly recommend!!

With no reviews I may have been taking a risk going here. Everybody knows how notorious car repair shops can be, and I have definitely been to some bad ones in the Gold Coast to know the difference. So I called up in the morning and picked up my car in the afternoon with all the work completed and a problem that the past 4 mechanics wouldn't address finally repaired. Fairly priced, professional, accurate sound advice (also not given before) & friendly service. They now have my business for the future. The car runs better than ever.

Excellent service, got window regulator replaced and to my surprise all debris around boot lining was cleared and clean , my car stands outside under tree and collects debris, super friendly, fast and affordable
