Don't Gnocc It Restaurant

This restaurant truly impressed us with its exceptional service and unique Italian cuisine, especially the homemade pasta and gnocchi.

During our visit, we ordered the Malfadine (seafood pasta) and Parpadelle, and from the very first bite, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors. As we looked around, we noticed the next table had ordered the Focaccia, which looked incredibly fluffy and tempting, something we'll undoubtedly return to try.

It's a shame that we missed the chance to savor their signature gnocchi, as it had sold out the night before. However, we eagerly anticipate our next visit to this wonderful establishment.

Ordered Carbonara & Foccacia today at 5pm.. just found out from their menu they were home made.. and wow it was really good! And kuddos to the staff who served me, he was really kind and accomodating even after knowing I was using a voucher from Eatclub.. will surely come back and try some of the pastas 😍

I chose this charming little restaurant cos I liked the sound of the menu, but mostly cos it wasn't fighting for attention, nestled quietly amongst many larger outfits. I sat just inside and was made to feel welcome immediately; despite being here on an incredibly busy public holiday, I was impressed with the attention I was shown and not disappointed with the efficient speed of service.

I was wowed by all three items I chose: my Jinotto mocktail was refreshing and zingy; the mussels with chilli and wild garlic were wonderful; but I adored how in Nonna's Garden pasta I could taste each of its separate ingredients -- perfectly balanced flavours 😋

If I were here longer, I'd definitely be back for more. But until my next visit to the Gold Coast, perhaps you could give this little place the same chance I did -- and I hope you too love it! 💙

We had a great experience, they fit us in as walks ins in a Saturday night for five and had great service and recommendations. Loved the Mushroom pasta. Will be back

Pasta and Gnocchi are amazing. GF gnocchi tastes exactly like regular (which is good). Great and friendly customer service.

I tried the beef cheeks and mushroom gnocchi.

The gnocchi was freshly made on site and the beef cheeks were slow cooked. I have never tasted beef that just melted in your mouth like this one.

Hubby had Gamberi, which was prawns and tomatoes with gnocchi. The gnocchi is so fresh and soft and he said the subtle flavours were amazing.

Coeliacs are catered for with different gluten free options. Wheelchairs are also catered for and accessibility is not an issue here.

For dessert we had the crepes to share. They were divine!!!

I loved that the background music was soft so you could have a conversation and the atmosphere with material tablecloths was of a higher class than the usual Street cafes.

if you want a true authentic Italian meal, this is the place to come.

Dined at the establishment on 20-01-22, as visiting from Sydney. Ordered the gnocchi with beef cheek and mushrooms and burnt butter and prosciutto gnocchi as mains. Both of these dishes were lovely, with great portions and soft gnocchi. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and cannot fault their service. Wine was well paired with the meat dish, and cocktail well enjoyed. Will be visiting again in the near future!

The best gnocc' I have ever had in my life . The gnocc' is soft and amazing and it literally melts in your mouth. I tried the wild mushroom and trio of cheese gnocc' and I really recommend them. I also tried the pizza and pasta and they were both really fresh and tasty. This place offers a good selection of drinks and cocktails and it has an indoor and outdoor seating area. The staff were super friendly and amazing and they made our experience outstanding.

My daughter and I had a beautiful dinner here. As lovers of italian food we could not fault the gnocchi. The friendly service, amazing food and welcoming atmosphere was second to none. The signature gnocchi dishes are amazing especially the burnt butter and prosciutto gnocchi..😍

The food and service here is wonderful. All of our requests were taken care of. Be it tasting a wine before buying a bottle or getting half half pesto and butter foccaia entree. The pesto! My husband says "why can't you make it this good at home". Thanks for raising the bar here. Truffle gnocchi was so pillowy and delightful. We scraped the bowl. The classic pan fried with prosciutto and pecorino was so substantial and delicious. I requested a small side of napoletana sauce because it was a bit dry to get through but they met my request with no worries. It was so good dunking those little gnocchi in the garlic tomato deliciousness. I recommend this place. So good. Thanks for a great meal. The cocktails were great too. That Godfather cocktail is THE BEST!!!

Can't explain how amazing this gnocchi was! Best gnocchi I have ever had in my life (and i have been to Italy...!!!) It just melted in your mouth, like eating a cloud. The cannoli was also to die for. I will definitely be back when in the area again. The staff were also soo friendly and helpful. 110% recommend.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU GNOCC IT

We had dinner at this Italian themed Restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating area. This Restaurant is also dog friendly. Accessibility in no problems for wheelchairs and walkers. This was my first Gnocchi experience and it won't be my last. There is a Gnocchi dish to suit everyone's taste. I had the Gamberi which was a local sourced prawn dish, minus the chilli. The staff are accommodating so dont be afraid to add or delete ingredients from your chosen meal.

One of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been too (We are from Europe so we've been to quite a few 😋) We tried few of the items on the menu and had couple of cocktails as well. Super delicious. Special shout out to the beautiful young lady serving us tonight (I am sorry, I forgot her name) but she made our night. Thank you so much, it was 'perfetto'🙏

Last was my first time here and I really enjoyed my dinner. The customer service was wonderful. I ordered the burnt butter Gnocchi , so good .

I had the Italian style salmon which was very nice and perfectly cooked. My partner is an avid Gnocchi eater. She had the basil & sundried pesto (pictured half eaten already) and said it was the best she ever head. Quote "it's so light and fluffy, it melts in your mouth".

My family traveled to QLD for a holiday in January and we stumbled across this amazing restaurant! The service was beautiful and the food was the absolute best! We were served by a lovely lady from Argentina who took the time to explain to us the menu, talked about her travels so far across the Coast, and was extremely kind! The Gnocchi was cooked to perfection and our cocktails were even better. I would 100% recommend this restaurant!
