Friendly Grocer Broadbeach Central

I read the other reviews so decided to go and see for myself. The guy at the store, well I wouldn’t call him over friendly but he certainly wasn’t rude. He helped us out finding and opening things and we thought the prices were pretty reasonable for a store that’s not a supermarket. It has a very good variety of things throughout the store and all appeared fresh.
If you need stuff late at night definitely recommend going here.

I had uber delivery experience without this shop on 18Feb 11:20, the staff there didn’t help me by taking bags, and I mistakenly took wrong bag. He called me with many bad words. I am really unhappy with him. He through the coins infront of an old man while I was there. I think he is not happy with his job. He doesn’t have this right to talk to a working people this way. I brought the products back to the shop. I hope people learn to be kind to each other.

Waited 8mins for someone to serve me (no one else in the shop), the guy had no manners and then tried to sell me batteries that expired in 2018! What a lame store.

Ironically the worker at Friendly Grocer was not so friendly (Indian man). No hello, no goodbye or thank you. Just points when you ask for something. And yes, he can speak because he was talking to his friend... Probably his only friend because he isnt that friendly

Arrogant swearing customer service. I had an Uber order he put completely wrong item (re: photo: he claims it’s a mandarin). Then admitted he didn’t have the ordered items and suggested I come and pick them myself.
OUTRAGEOUS! Should not be on Uber or open in that case.
