Their hot cross buns (yeah I know it's a little early 😊) are excellent - soft, not too sweet, and nice emphasis on the fruit 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

NO.1 bakery so far for me in Geelong, I can tell. Great. Thumbs up for everything, bread, coffee, service with big smile and even vibe! Especially bread was extremely great, nicely chewy, smooth, crunch , pretty much all factors ticked on!

Been to this place once during COVID and finally decided to come back.
So good to see people bustling around.
Definitely a spot to go when you want a good quality bread and pastry.
The one that stood up the most was their focaccia!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Love the coffee latte. Robust and smooth. The milk textured perfectly. Paired with the almond biscuit. Yummy!!! A must try👌 👍

Love these guys. Didn't take long and these guys remembered my name. Now I am greeted every time I walk in and often have chats with the staff. That's some pretty incredible service. That's not to mention the coffee and food. Damn good. My favourite coffee around.

We went there quite late like about 10am and left croissant and ham and cheese croissant. Both are really good. I can taste the butter. Comparable to Agathe but this is more softer/delicate. Love them as well. Coffee was good, we really enjoyed them. Might need to come earlier next time to try the others.

While visiting Geelong, my daughter (a local) and I dropped by this cafe/ fresh bread/ coffee shop. It had excellent coffee and the best almond croissant I’ve had. It became my go to place for the next three weeks. The bread is amazing, made fresh daily. A must try place!

Beautiful coffee, always quick. Staff are welcoming. Amazing pastries and sandwiches, love the croissants. Can't fault Pane di Matteo, my choice in all of Geelong.

The best bakery/Cafe in Geelong. Every single time the staff are super friendly, and the food is insanely good. Great coffee as well! We don't go anywhere else for our bread or treats anymore. Love ya work guys

By far the best coffee shop in Geelong! I make sure to go everyday even if it means driving past others along the way. The owner Matt is always so friendly and greets you with a welcoming smile and his staff are so on top of the orders that it runs so smoothly in there even at the busiest of times. James makes a killer coffee and always makes time to have a chat to the customers to ensure they feel loved and not like just another number through the door. The coffee is amazing, the food is way too delicious and the customer service is always 5 stars no matter who you get!! Highly recommend Pane di Matteo’s 😁

These people in this cafe were 💯👌pure GOLD during COVID.

Can’t speak for anything other than the espresso, but the espresso is that good that I’m leaving a google review. I never do google reviews. That’s how good their espresso is. Consistently perfect.
Please keep your baristas safe! Wrap them in bubble wrap if need be. We must ensure they live forever!
