Tasmanian Gingerbread - Richmond

I'm not a gingerbread connoisoir so can't really comment on the quality of what I bought. However, they were tasty but only got the plain variety to take back to Sydney with me for my two daughters. A large selection with all different iced designs and shapes. They also sell a wide range of baking equipment which I thought was pretty awesome.

Delicious gingerbread, so soft, and the icing is the perfect amount of sweetness, also they have duck food in case you want to feed the local ducks by the river.

On our holiday to Tasmania we went to this store I highly recommend if you love gingerbread it was the nicest I've ever had! Love this place

quite cramped in my opinion

Absolute rip off bought 4 different packs and couldn’t tell the difference between them. Triple strength gingerbread was exactly the same as original but twice as dear. Better off buying ginger biscuits from woolies. The chai gingerbread same deal If you’re going to advertise something as a certain taste or flavour make sure it does. Total waste of money although I Should’ve known better, these little tourist shops are often dodgy.

The gingerbread was ok but the service was absolutely appalling! Rude from the minute we walked in then sold my 5 yo a broken biscuit pop and refused to exchange it while still standing at the counter. Brought another but it will be the last of their products i ever buy. You would think a shop full of products marketed to children would be child friendly, but they are not. Leave your kids outside or go to the lolly shop instead 🙂
