Mermaid Vintage Emporium

My friend and I had a marvellous time here. The owner was very helpful and pleasant we spent ages in there and both came away with items we love. There was a couple of sales racks which provided excellent value. Love it. Terrific vintage shop.

I have never seen a more perfectly curated collection of vintage treats and special things. If you don’t want to miss any of the delicate finery, take your time! Walk slowly and rummage through every nook and cranny. If you’re anything like me the experience will bring a tear to your eye

I wish I could give it zero stars. The owner was incredibly rude and the stock spectacularly over priced. At first glance looked charming and interesting, but on closer inspection lots of vintage you wouldn’t actually wear.

When we walked into the store there was no one there to begin with. Service was then rude. Most things were overpriced, especially the masks. We were changed $5 for disposal masks straight out of the box. Good place to pay double price for junk.

This is the Second time I’ve visited and even though the hours on the website state the store is open - it never is. Disappointed as Portsea is a long way to drive.
Update the website- it’s not that hard!!
