Kuro Sakura Japanese BBQ Yakiniku 焼肉黒桜

The food is good, we had the all you can eat deluxe bbq package ($99 pp) and felt it was quite worth the price, especially if you’re a big eater. The meat was quite tender for the price, our fav were the rib fingers and and eye fillet.

It’s very busy so I recommend you book online before showing up.

Atmosphere was very lively and noisy which is normal for bbq places like these. There was a very annoying Cantonese speaking group complaining about everything sitting on the top level though which did bring down the mood of dinner a little.

One of the best Japanese restaurants we’ve ever been. The service is absolutely incredible and the food was amazing. I requested a cake for my husband’s birthday on the same day and they made an effort to accommodate my request. Thanks again and will surely be back.

This Japanese BBQ restaurant is located at Oscar Street, 5 mins walk from Chatswood chase from Victoria road, about 10-15mins walk from Chatswood station. Walk less than 5mins from service nsw Chatswood.We booked the table at the last minute on Christmas day. The waygu beef is very fresh, we enjoyed the quality of meat and the environment. This is an all you can eat restaurant, soft drinks are free. The signature waygu, short ribs and sabu are the must try. The service is also great. The self-service system is very responsive. Highly recommend.

I love the quiet ambiance. It is not chaotic. Here you can really talk with the people you are eating with. You have a tablet where you can order from. they are pretty fast when serving the food. I love the wagyu meats. Softdrinks and juices are included and unlimited. They have desserts but not included. A bit pricey but worth it.

Tried the wagyu buffet here. Excellent meat quality and very worth it. It is $55 per person and you get 5% discount for paying in cash. The waitress was also really friendly and helpful. Will be coming back in the future. Great value.

The negative reviews seem to be from the past. I did not experience any issues here. Enjoyed my time here.

The beef is all so good.. super quality sliced beef, presented very well and the 2 sauce for dipping the meats are delicious. Super happy with the buffet.

Love this place. Been here about 5 times over the last 12 months and really enjoy the atmosphere and food. Even the 60$ all you can eat has a fantastic range.

Great for families too. Its one of those not overpriced or over done resturants. Good for a fun evening out.

Really good food and value. Most other places honesty pale in comparison as they give free soft drinks and free soup for their $50 price range. The lowest tier option is the best value.

Very good value Japanese BBQ (yakiniku) with Wagyu beef. Efficient service and nice relaxing atmosphere. There is a reason why they are always full!

Absolutely loved the high-quality wagyu meat and the diverse selection available. The serving sizes were really generous, and the service was fantastic. I'm definitely planning on coming back for more!

We were invited by our daughter and son in law to celebrate Mum’s day last Sunday night! As they have been at Kuro Sakura before to use the $25 voucher,and liked it so much.🥳
So our experience was fantastic and we expected very noisy voices 😅but not,it was really comfy and 😇quiet environment for a especial occasion. The Bbq is amazing 🤪🤩and you can eat delicious meat & food and also drink soft drinks as much you happy to.

It was our first time there and they have this new "all you can eat" thingy so we tried it and it was amazing! For $39 a head and you pick what you want, beef, wagu, pork belly etc you know bbq you know the drill. The meat, seafood and vegies quality is great too. Good cut, good size, nice service. Highly recommended if you are in the area. I would go back there again myself if we around

The best Japanese barbecue in Sydney. The meat is extremely tender, fresh and delicious. The environment is very good.Went to this restaurant for dinner and the entire experience was great. Staff were friendly and courteous, and went out of their way to make guests feel at ease.Whether it's couples, friends or family, it's appropriate.It is scrumptious!

Absolutely wonderful quality of meat and variety! Meat + seafood + side dishes and free soft drinks/juices for a good deal of “All you can eat”! Cosy atmosphere for a family dinner or a date, I’m in loveeee!

The standard "all you can eat" with food service very slow. Cleanliness was poor with used toothpicks with the fresh ones and food on the floor. Meat was great though and a great experience all around.

This place is sublime.. it’s as close to stepping through a wormhole to land in a quaint underground Tokyo eatery. Marbled wagyu over a smokeless flaming BBQ is perfect.. delicate touch to food preparation and presentation evokes the genuine Japanese experience.. a must try, if you can get in... convenient to be soooo close..

Just have to leave my first ever review on Google map. We had the BBQ buffet and would definitely come back for it. The meat, vegetables and all side dishes that we had were super delicious and served in generous portion throughout the 90 minutes. The restaurant is quite small and there were only 2 ladies serving all tables. The service was a bit slow (reasonably). However, the environment and the team are very nice and welcoming to us and I would highly recommend it.

Went there on Mother's Day with a 5pm booking. We arrived early at 4:50pm and there were a few tables there already. This was the first time we went there and ordered the $59 per person all you can eat and drink. Food was not superb quality but they arrived super fast, like literally within 2 minutes after you ordered it. Free unlimited soft drink was a bonus because my son loves soft drink, even though they were not actual Coca Cola but that didn't matter at all. A bit rush because you needed to order within 60 minutes but we were almost full anyway by 60 minutes time so there was OK for us too. We only ordered bbq beef because we only like beef plus two serves of salads. Overall a good place to visit. Will definitely go again.
