Really fun. Amazing place. Covered in maidenhair ferns in winter. Going off trail with GPS device, found rare glow in the dark mushrooms. Go deep enough in and you can see the amazing ocean views. Gigantic mining shafts are dotted everywhere randomly, watch out!

YO THIS PLACE IS LITERALLY AMAZON FOREST. Driving through here reminds me of the Jurassic Park scene where they drive through the park. So beautiful and untouched. There are walks through the forest that doesn't feel like it's toned down for the general public. It feels like a real forest

Short hilly walks around the ruins of mining buildings and shafts, as well as a lookout across the ocean to KI.

Step back into a former silver mine and village.
The area has sign posted information where you can compare what was there, to what you're seeing today, and well posted tracks.
Well worth the short detour off the main road to Cape Jervis.

It is an interesting place with the ruins of a few buildings (some being almost whole) dotted around. You get a snippet of South Australia's mining history
